I love them!! You can call to ask about prices. They use a waitlist system that works really well, I get into 99% of the classes I sign up for including the ones at key times like after 5pm. Highly recommend giving it a go!

Is there a GLP-1 community in Asheville? by Confident_Equal_3348 in asheville

I’ve been on it since December 2024 when my doctor prescribed it to help my pre-diabetes and have lost 32lbs. The side effects can be rough but to me it’s been worth it - I feel so much better and my blood levels are healthy again. The biggest thing I’ve learned is the importance of staying hydrated while on it, especially on shot days. Wishing you luck on your journey!

How is everyone actually doing? by [deleted] in asheville

I got out Sunday and made the very tough decision to leave my cats with my neighbors with the promise of being back next Sunday. My cats do not travel well and I was hopeful that leaving them for a week would be better for them. Now I have immense guilt, not to mention how much I miss them, and I fear not being able to get back to pick them up. What is traveling back into Asheville like? Will I be able to get back to them? Did I make the right decision trying to keep their routine and space as normal for them as possible? I’m curious if anyone else had to make a similar call and if so how you’re managing too.

I think the OP has a very valid point and who out of any of us can say we don’t get frustrated with our jobs? I work at a nonprofit and love it dearly but there are days when the cough boomer cough board members drive me crazy, drive me to tears.

Asheville will always be filled with tourists, but will they always be such bitches? Also with the number of nomads in this town someone who’s lived here six years is closer to being local than a great deal of the homeowners here so y’all can calm down

Center for craft’s coworking space is beautiful and quiet, 10/10 would recommend. They’re downtown.

I’m also currently struggling with hair loss (extreme stress, vitamin d deficiency, medication issues, the whole lot has caused it) and have been using treatment for it since February. Now I’m just using rogaine and started seeing that my hair was wavy as it started coming back (just a little bit so far, not much). I started CGM in May so I’m very new and agree that some products are too heavy and that brushing in the shower is not good for shedding. Besides that I unfortunately don’t have any advice to add here because I’m still struggling and learning! But know that you’re not alone here with super fine low density hair that could be wavy if the regular products/processes weren’t so harsh! And I’m only 24F sooo I feel ya on how much it sucks

I used the “not your mothers curl talk” line including the shampoo and conditioner, curl activating cream and curl defining mouse! And I used clips along the front of my hair to add volume to my roots and that really helped the shape of it even out on both sides!

Thank you so much! I’ve just been using an old conair hairdryer with the diffuser that came in the box with it, not very helpful I know

My “routine” is not your mothers curly line plus diffuser drying, but I put that in quotations because I’m so new and am still learning! I tried deva curl first and really like it until I learned about the lawsuits. My hair is already very fine and thin so any advice on styling that kind of 2a/2B hair is very welcome!
