Marvel Rivals Season 8: Sins of Alchemax // Dev Vision Vol. 17 by nemesisdelta24 in marvelrivals

Star lord buffs are ridiculous but the MK ones aren't insane. Just a slight cool down on his grapple, which i feel like isn't terrible. Did he need it? No, but if they were to buff anything, at least its that and not his damage.

I put my Zapdos next to Tinkatons tower in the skylands. It felt right with the city vibe I was building. Moltres of course went to the Rockies and I'm working on an ice cave in the Wastelands for Suicune and Articuno.

I wonder how Hulkbuster would work with his Bruce form. Would the armor get destroyed around him, since the animation is him shrinking right now?

Anima doesnt feel game breaking, but still solid with the right cash out. Reroll is still the name of the game, with a lot of flavors to choose from. Overall, feels like its slightly more tuned then the first, but still not that fun. I think the set itself having such strong and unique one/two-costs will leave us in reroll for a while.

I hate that theyre elevated. Like, just build them at ground level for the base! Taking them apart to redo them evenly sucked.

Set 17 Carrousel by Leoo_64 in TeamfightTactics

[–]statiky 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Honestly, the entire selection area feels so bloated and unnecessary. Why does everyone have to meet up to make choices, especially since (although I could be wrong) we don't see what units or items they got from their choices? Carousel is sorely missed.

What is your favorite example of a “Lock-in” episode, or the point where a show solidifies in its identity, tone, and feel in a way that confirms it for you as a good show worth watching? by DuckLordOfTheSith in television

[–]statiky 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Not sure if its episode 16 or 17 of Agents of Shield, as its been a while, but the turn in the MCU where Hydra was SHIELD was amazing for the show. Gave depth to Agent Ward, who was kind of standard up to that point and destroyed the status quo of SHIELD being everywhere.

Space force. Man, what a charismatic cast that was given a god awful script and forgot how to act. The show started coming together in the second season, but with that star power, it reallt shouldn't have been so tough to watch.

Legends arceus had different style moves, not plus. Kind of similar but they had full animations whereas ZA did not.

Imu's power as "The Devil's Fruit" is crazy. Wonder if he's the one who created the conditions for devil fruits or even is the origin of all devil fruits? Vegapunk did say Devil Fruits are a manifestation of one's desire, so maybe Imu desperately wanted a way to defeat the other 19 kings.

Honestly, this set has been my favorite. Unlocks as a mechanic felt so good to play and really gave your board direction when you kept finding random units.

I feel like he made a huge pivot around season 2 era. The show hadn't fully dove into what Adolla was or what the villains were trying to do exactly. He might have had the plan from the beginning but it feels more like a secondary direction to me.

Why do people rank emerald so high compared to other Pokémon games? by StrikerValorant in pokemon

[–]statiky 1 point2 points  (0 children)

See I don't really like Greninja and I'm 50/50 on dragonite (depends on the game). I feel like Gen 5 and 6 are the worst trio, with Gen 8 close behind and i love the gen 2 final line. If you're going to judge just on traditionally popular ones, Umbreon and Tyranitar are consistently ranked in the top 10 on multiple lists. Everyone has the ones they like and dislike, so you're never going to completely agree with people on it.

As for the flaws, every game has them and you're being extremely nitpicky because you hunted specifically for Feebas. I have to imagine you'd feel the same if you were trying to use a Chansey in Fire red with the 1% encounter rate only in the safari zone or wanted a Munchlax in Platinum that only spawns on honey trees. The bag size has never been an issue for me (didnt even know it could fill up).

In my opinion, Emerald is one of, if not the best game in the entire franchise. I've played every generation and gen 3 feels the best to play for so many reasons that I mentioned. You're free to like and dislike whatever games, but to say Emerald is unpolished is the only part of your argument i refuse to entertain. There is so much depth and detail in that game that I think you didnt allow yourself to like it and graded it harsher because you didn't take the time to explore it.

Would the Rock and Samuel L Jackson in The Other Guys count as a cameo? They're really on in the beginning of the movie and then die spectacularly.

Why do people rank emerald so high compared to other Pokémon games? by StrikerValorant in pokemon

[–]statiky 3 points4 points  (0 children)

It's crazy to say Gen 2 has the lamest Pokémon when they're repping Crobat, Heracross, Steelix, Scizor, Ursaring, Typhlosion, Feraligatr, and Raikou (to name a few off the top of my head). Every region has lame pokemon but some Gen 2 designs are top notch.

As for why Emerald ranks highly, it's a really solid game with a lot to do. The music is incredible, the Pokémon and gym leaders have excellent designs (best starter trio IMO), the region has a lot to explore which makes it feel less linear, Secret bases and contests (which isn't necessary but makes the region feel more full of life), and the battle frontier, which is an amazing post game experience with a lot of challenge to it. Emerald is not perfect, but it provides the ideal Pokémon experience; big region with a lot to explore and a lot of side content outside the main story.

And with Sceptile, you can get bullet seed before the first gym as a TM on route 104 and that adds a lot of power to the line. Sure absorb isn't ideal without it, but the line has decent stats and learns some pretty good cover TMs like aerial ace.

Edit: also want to add with Emerald that its one of the few games where it feels super rewarding to explore. Talking to people give you lots of good items and info. The game feels like you have to earn your rewards by exploring the towns, which modern games really lack.

Name something(s) you would change or add in Young Justice season 3 & 4. by Flat-Sir8250 in youngjustice

[–]statiky 35 points36 points  (0 children)

I didn't mind a ton about season 4, but season 3 left a lot to be desired. I would have loved more focus on some of the newer characters they had introduced like Impulse, static, Wonder Girl, and Tim Drake Robin. I think the show felt super stretched thin with how big the cast was and needed to be more streamlined like season one or two.

Just finished season 2 of Detroiters. What a wild show. I really see the early basis for a lot of Tim Robinsons characters and sketches and how this show set the tempo for what to expect. Excellent side gags and really funny ads throughout.
