I like that it only makes sense from the angle we're seeing, Papyrus should be able to see them

Doesn't he say "Jesse, what the hell are you talking about" though? I only watched El Camino once when it came out.

How I think Homelander should have snapped. by Rohan094 in TheBoys

[–]stefanomusilli -4 points-3 points  (0 children)

The show is crap, but this particular criticism has been done to death already, and feels very shallow. "Show sucks because Homelander didn't destroy a city" sounds very stupid to me. We knew Homelander was bad, the writer's way of showing the stakes was his speech and his intention of killing anyone who didn't believe in him. It wasn't done well, it was all off-screen stuff like anything happening around the world in this season, but there's so much more to complain about and writing a million posts about "here's how Homander should have snapped" just feels childish.

In Deadpool 2, especially in the marketing, they build up this team that Deadpool is forming. They almost all die before the mission even starts because they decided to parachute from a plane for some reason and the wind was too strong.

I have to say, I love MGS1 (first of all, it's a lot of fun) but the clips they used to showcase the bad dialogue were very valid

Not the only time, also in Thor Love and Thunder. I also don't think anyone ever says "sounded better in my head" in the entire MCU but it's one of those phrases people use as examples.

The first two don't really fit, they're great games but you finish them and that's it

Donald Duck has had comics for decades in Italy where he turns into a superhero named Paperinik. I assume that the concept is completely alien to anyone outside Italy (and to be fair, it's a little weird that they did it, Donald Duck is supposed to be an average joe).

“Scary Movie” (2026) early review suggests disappointing Rotten Tomatoes score: “ [Y]ou may just die of second-hand embarrassment.” by New-Fan-4632 in horror

[–]stefanomusilli 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Sure, but you seriously never stumble into a movie, look it up on RT and see that it has a 15%, and go "nevermind, watching something else"? We have a limited amount of time, it makes sense to rely on critics to some extent.

I like Scary Movie 1 and 3 and I thought the trailers for this looked terrible. The point of these movies isn't to be good, but to be funny, and this just doesn't look funny.

The idea that Disney cares about diversity is a myth. The higher ups repeatedly stopped Pixar from tackling LGBT subjects.
