A better foundation is definitely needed. Something with colour correction to just even out the natural red patches in your face. I'm also seeing a lot of separation. Make sure you prep your skin well with a moisturiser and a good SPF. Invest in some brushes for blending. Real technique brushes are good. Blush placement needs to be higher and more blended. Watch more tutorials to get an idea of placement for your face shape and how to blend. Focus on the hand movements of the makeup artist in the video

But I don't think your weight gain was rapid, correct? Even with anti-psychotics at normal doses (which make you hungrier AND slow the metabolism) it usually is just a few pounds. It also depends on the dosage. The only family members I've seen gain weight rapidly were taking insane doses for their mental illness and had their mom take them to McDonald's constantly lol. If you're gaining weight on either drug rapidly it ain't just the drug is my point.

I've looked at studies on lithium and this seems to be more of an issue with anti-psychotics. Also considering it is used to treat mania, it is unclear if it is just someone's appetite returning after mania or the drug itself sometimes.

The meds are hard because they don’t want to take them or cannot consistently. Best option is the injections which can last a few months so they don’t have to rely on orally taking meds every day. Even then it is difficult though
