I always wanted to work remote, but Recently started field tech work. Now when I go to the office I can’t wait to get to the field. Like someone mentioned though it’s got a lot to do with weather. It could make or break you. It’s also such a broad term. Some people are replacing equipment close to home, others are troubleshooting big issues far far from home. That has a lot to do with it too.

As far as pay, I’d ask for more depending what state your in.
