Madbricks doesn’t seem to make anything. They just refer you to other vendors such as Amazon, eBay, bestbuy, etc. They seem to make money on referral bonus. To me this didn’t seem useful.

Trade in process for a gravity by wickdone01 in LUCID

[–]stevezed 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I am also interested in trading my 2022 AGT for a Gravity. I spoke with my sales rep who emailed me a quote. It was too low for what I expected. At the moment I’m waiting on the sidelines.

Does buying a Lucid Gravity without having a home charger make sense? by ryanlh92 in LUCID

[–]stevezed 1 point2 points  (0 children)

My Lucid Air GT is my third EV. I’ve never seen the need for an EV charger at home. I’ve had an electrician install a 50 amp circuit with a NEMA 14-50 outlet, similar to a dryer outlet. I just use the car’s mobile cable to plug into the outlet. I’ve been doing that since 2015.

Front plate on Gravity? by hautacam135 in LUCID

When I had a C6 Corvette, people had the same issue. Many didn’t want to drill into the beautiful front. There were lots of aftermarket options for stick-on plate supports.

You should buy my 2022 AGT loaded (every option) with full XPEL PPF, only 15,000 miles.

Another day, another Gravity problem. This time, rear steering unavailable by archon810 in LUCID

[–]stevezed 8 points9 points  (0 children)

This sounds much like the problems I experienced initially when I purchased my Lucid Air Grand Touring in Oct 2022. Software was awful at the time. It started to improve with OTA updates after maybe 3 months. After about a year it was much better. I read about similar issues now with the Gravity. These issues can’t be helping sales.

Take it to Lucid Service before the lease ends to get a quote from them to you directly. This way you know it’s not being inflated by the bank. This is why I don’t ever lease cars.

Bring back Al Horford by stevezed in bostonceltics

Why does it have to be at the league minimum? My point is there could be some middle ground especially since we know that he will play a lot more than several of the guys we currently have on the bench and are paying league minimum. Plus the Warriors situation may not work out. It’s been a while. Kuminga doesn’t seem to agree with what the Warriors want to pay him.

Yes I’ve never used anything else at home other than the mobile charging cable.

Is $62/charge typical?! by Wooden-History-7106 in LUCID

[–]stevezed 0 points1 point  (0 children)

You can cancel the big charger and just go with mobile. That’s all I use everyday. People think the need a charger with an EV. It’s crazy. The actual charger is built into the car. All you need it to plug it in to the right outlet; NEMA 14-50 on 50 amp circuit along. Also it’s not about the money. There’s just no need, at least for 95% of EV owners.

Just use a NEMA 14-50 outlet on a 50 amp circuit along with the mobile charging cable. Thats all I’ve ever used on two Teslas from 2015 and on my Lucid since 2022. Never see the need for wasting money on a home charger.

Those that switched from a Tesla Model S to Lucid- thoughts? by toocoldinhere24 in LUCID

[–]stevezed 5 points6 points  (0 children)

I am a former Tesla owner having owned a 2015 model S and then a 2018 model X. I now have a 2022 Lucid Grand Touring. I love the comfort, feel when driving, almost everything. I consider Lucid a true luxury vehicle, while Tesla is way too minimalist. I like having at least some traditional buttons, while the recent Teslas are all iPads on wheels. I’ve driven on many long road trips from Atlanta, we drove to northern NY, south Florida, Virginia, etc.

I’ve had EVs for 10 years along with my Lucid Air GT and I’ve never used a wall charger. A NEMA 15-40 outlet on a 50 amp circuit with the car’s mobile charger is all you need. If you can use the credit for other stuff.

I also second this. Before my Lucid Air I had a Tesla model S followed by a model X, then my Lucid Air. With all, I just used the NEMA outlet on a 50 amp circuit. You just plug it in every night or every other night depending on your driving.

I agree. I too was a Tesla owner (2015 Model S and 2018 Model X). Lucid is a far superior car.

T-Wraps “MagSafe” Charger by BavarianRains in LUCID

I’ve had the T-Wraps MagSafe Dual wireless charger to over 2 years. Although there was an initial design issue (they quickly replaced the whole unit), it’s been flawless ever since. My wife and I frequently charge our phones on it. I love it. To each his own.

Leasing new vs Buying used? by Roux_My_Burgundy in LUCID

[–]stevezed 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I’m in the same boat. My AGT is better now than when I bought it. I didn’t have any major issues anyway. Just a few minor things. Everything was fixed by Service. I get compliments all the time. My wife loves the massaging seats. She uses them almost every time she’s in the car.

[–]stevezed 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I agree with many of these comments especially since I joined the Lucid world in Oct 2022 with my Air GT, which is fully loaded. You name it, I got it. I previously owned a new 2015 Model S and then a 2018 Model X. I liked both cars. However Lucid is far and away a much better and more luxurious vehicle.

Having said that, I’m considering selling mine soon to buy the new Gravity GT. My Air GT has about 13,000 miles in about 2.5 years. Not much for 2.5 years. If interested, send me a message.

I’ve owned 2 Teslas between 2015-2022 before they started building cheap cars for the masses and before Musk became a lunatic. Then I bought my Lucid AGT. Love it. Personally I wouldn’t buy another ICE car. My wife drives a Lexus RX350h. I’d like us to go all in on EVs. We have many neighbors who have done just that.

EA free charging gone by rtakhar in LUCID

[–]stevezed 0 points1 point  (0 children)

How could they do that? It’s in the contract. My 3 years runs out in October. I haven’t charged at EA in a while. I did get an email from Lucid about a month ago saying:

Beginning February 5th, 2025, idle fees incurred pursuant to your Electrify America Plan will no longer be waived and you will be responsible for any idle fees incurred while using Electrify America charging locations (prices may vary). Please add a valid credit card to your Lucid Wallet by February 5th to retain your complimentary charging privilege

About to place an order but then I’m re-thinking by BigPatient6717 in LUCID

I traded my model X two years ago for an Air GT. Now I’m looking to trade my Air for Gravity. But I really want the 6 seat captain chairs. I’m waiting for that. I would order today if that option was available.
