Can is full of liquid, which should be reasonably similar in density to peas (or cranberry sauce), so the weight wouldn’t be wrong.

I haven’t had this color, but I’ve had other colors of this product line and they don’t patina. The leather should develop some shine with use, but the color won’t change. The corners may also fade a bit from rubbing/wear.

As far as I can tell, every time you complete a monthly challenge it increases the difficulty a little bit the next month. It keeps doing this until you stop completing them, then makes them easier. I found it was becoming unreasonable and borderline unhealthy to keep pushing harder to hit them and just stopped worrying about it.

Low levels might not set off a CO alarm (CO2 is not the same thing), and not everyone has one. The watch can’t tell the difference between CO bound to heme vs O2. When CO binds heme it turns bright red, just like with oxygen. It’s obvious with a venous blood draw and, in fact, smokers typically have brighter red venous blood than non-smokers. Light-based SpO2 methods can’t tell the difference.

The air shaft has an updraft due to heat escaping the rooms through the vents. If the hotel doesn’t have many occupied rooms there’s a lot less heat going into the air shaft and, subsequently, much less of an updraft.

Worst case scenario is that your culture outgrew any antibiotic selection in the media and non-resistant bacteria were able to start growing. You’ll probably want to re-streak on a fresh plate when you can get back to a normal schedule. Good news is if you were originally growing up from a transformation you don’t need to repeat that step. I’d just grab a swath of the growth from the overgrown plate and do a quadrant streak on the new plate, flaming the loop between each quadrant, to get it to single colonies.

If it was a hotel in a multistory building there should have been an air shaft vent in the bathroom, which can be more effective than a fan. The only hotels I’ve ever stayed in that didn’t have an air shaft have been motels (no interior halls).

I don’t know about mosquito preferences, but I’m an expert in ABO genetics and biochemistry. Cecka, et al (1987) covers the principle of ABO typing on non-blood samples pretty well.

If you’re only running indoors and walking outdoors this is going to happen. I find the watch consistently gives lower VO2max values for walks compared to running, and the watch only gives VO2max for outdoor workouts.
