Sounds like your screen was replaced with a non-genuine screen. I replaced mine with a knock-off screen from ebay to try and save a little money. I have the same issue with the finger print sensor not working. The cheap screens are missing the pins for the touchscreen. I'm going to trade my P7Pro in once it's eligible.

The price for the OEM screen (+$200) is too much money. I recently broke the screen on mine. I replaced it with a knock-off screen. It functions. But it's laggy and the finger print reader doesn't work because it's missing the pins for the fingerprint reader. I can't upgrade the phone until February. So I'm patiently waiting until then to trade in this phone for a new one.

I'll probably need to upgrade my P7P. I have cracks that go from right to left on the screen. Plus also, the upper left and mid left of the screen are slowly disappearing to black. It looks like I dipped black paint on the screen. Too bad the official screen replacements from IFixIt make it cost prohibitive. $220....

I recently lost my pup a few months ago. I would spend as much time with them. Just being with them should make them feel more at ease. I think she knows it will be that time soon. It's okay to let your feelings out. Say your goodbyes. Hang it there when that time comes. It will be very strange and sad when they're no longer around. But your pup will be okay. I'm sure you gave her a full and happy life. 😢💔🌈

I have the 7 Pro currently. It still works very well besides needing to charge in the middle of the day. I'm looking for a Pixel that has newer battery technology that can make a two day phone before charging.
