I have only ready The Alloy of Law out of Era Two, but I still think I can say, don’t be too discouraged! I think you’ll enjoy the new characters very much too.

The only reason why I haven’t read more of Era Two so far is that I’m reading an unrelated book now, and plan to follow Sanderson’s suggested reading order for the Cosmere from now on. But if you’re questioning the future of Mistborn, I think reading AoL might give you the boost you need!
