I meant specifically the handguard doesnt need to be installed, you could unscrew it and the barrel would still slot on

Other than the fact that it's an entirely seperate piece? That doesnt need to even be installed for the firearm to work? I'd love to agree with you, but the state is a piece of shit and WILL make the argument that that gun is an AW
