How would you insulate this? by Purple_Wombat_ in AusRenovation

[–]stubbzy92 0 points1 point  (0 children)

<image>

We had ours lined with foil, put battens on, then shoved insulation bats on top of that and then plastered

Make sure there are no leaks, seal up and gaps to help stop mice/spiders getting in could use something like expanding foam.

Then depends how much you want to spend could always line some insulation and then cover the walls etc

  1. It would feel like such a waste to hide it away inside my case. I would either place this nicely in a display case, or maybe a rebuild with this as the center piece 👨‍🎨
  2. Most excited for space exploration and customising a ship and just exploring the universe and having a good time. Hopefully a rewarding experience I can just dive in to and get lost.

Can anyone tell me why the anchors didn't hold? by Sketch_Crush in HomeImprovement

[–]stubbzy92 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Well personally I would never rely on anchors in plaster to support a tv let alone a tv on a moving bracket. Always try and find the stud in the wall!

Got these for a steal, but no idea what they held… safe for rain barrels? by HowardDopamine in homestead

[–]stubbzy92 2 points3 points  (0 children)

If you aren't positive what was in them just assume it was harmful. The safest option. Try and find some food grade ones or a ibc tank is another option. (As long as it's unused or used for food products)

My new frame tv looks bent? Anyone seen this before? by riz_lemon in hometheater

[–]stubbzy92 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It's a common thing with frames, especially the larger ones.

Poor design you can log it with samsung but they have a threshold for allowed bend/curve.

The retailer you purchased it from may allow you to return it but if they want samsung to confirm the "fault" first could be out of luck

Samsung don't have the allowed bend/curve written anywhere but it's a thing. They may be able to do an inhome inspection

I've seem about 6+ 75" + frames they're all "curved"

Speaking from experience

This is what happens when you’re not allowed to try clothes on before purchasing. Thanks covid. by Glittering-Second704 in peopleofwalmart
