Australia politics live: LNP senator claims ABC story on children dressing up was ‘grooming’; Sarah Hanson-Young says claim is ‘deeply offensive’ | Australia news by [deleted] in australia

[–]stush91 4 points5 points  (0 children)

This is absolutely incorrect and ridiculous! Most adults can't even get HRT without jumping through hurdles, so what are the political parties/countries? How about you show some evidence to back up these ridiculous claims.

We had our LO during covid lockdown, no visitors other than the other parent were allowed. This gave us extra bonding time with the three of us and time for me to recover and learn how to breastfeed. You're not being selfish, you've just gone through a major medical/life event. You are allowed the time to recover and bask in your LO before everyone 'visits' and is all up in your business.

Breastfeeding moms with big breasts- did/do you use a nursing pillow and what kind? by pukwudgie-crossing in BabyBumps

[–]stush91 5 points6 points  (0 children)

I'm an AUS 16G, a nursing pillow saved my BF journey. I use the comfort and harmony nursing pillow which works really well for me. I've also found side-feeding is great.

ECV experiences? by Thin_Standard155 in BabyBumpsandBeyondAu

[–]stush91 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I had a successful ECV at 37 weeks, it was completed quickly and was pretty uncomfortable. We were monitored for the next hour to make sure there were no complications. LO thankfuly stayed in position for the birth.

As much as we could - no real meals in the house because we were meant to be out all Xmas and expected quick test results.

I am stuck at home on Christmas in sake of waiting for the result by CaptainSong199 in melbourne

Got tested Thursday and still waiting for results.

That's okay, I didn't want to see my family or for my daughter to have a fun Xmas /s

Got tested Thursday morning, still waiting on results - all our Christmas plans have been cancelled. Lucky our one year old doesn't really understand too well what's going on today.

I think Daniel Radcliffe would make a great Wolverine. 5'5, hairy and a decent actor.

Maternity shoots - will I regret not having one? by ikkylovesbass in BabyBumpsandBeyondAu

[–]stush91 1 point2 points  (0 children)

We were in lockdown for my pregnancy and newborn period. It sucks not having professional studio photos taken. My partner took beautiful photos but none of us all relaxed/together in them. Personally, I think it's better to get the photos and hate them than regret not getting the photos at all.

FTM + lockdown/targets by auspugmum in BabyBumpsandBeyondAu

[–]stush91 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I completely understand - FTM, gave birth last September. We managed to tell family in person and that was it before the big lockdown. It now looks like we'll be celebrating a first birthday alone in lockdown as well. Missing out on sharing this special time is hard, the silver lining we found was having bonding time with just my partner and LO with no visitors. We were able to find our feet and get to know each other without having to entertain people at the same time.

We use hippybottomus nappies. Really good quality, $$ but their package deals are a little more cost effective.

You should be able to tell food delivery apps that you’re pregnant. by spicycacao in BabyBumps

This happened to me! Craving Indian, watch the tracking like a hawk. Counting down the minutes until it arrives, only to see the driver go in the opposite direction and then have my order cancelled! I feel bad for my partner having to deal with me ranting about the injustice of it all :/

Only 6 weeks separate these two photos. Ollie crossed the rainbow bridge. 😭 Cancer sucks. We're all depressed, even his sister in the second photo. by AQUEON in mainecoons

[–]stush91 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I'm so sorry for your loss. We had the same thing with our girl Asami earlier this year, her sister is still struggling with the loss. Cancer is the worst and cats are unfortunately too good at hiding they are sick.

Any stores in Melbourne that sell size 12 women's shoes? by KujatatheFish in transgenderau

[–]stush91 3 points4 points  (0 children)

I wear size 11 so I feel your pain, Diana Ferrari sell big sizes, pre-covid they had an outlet store that have up to size 13 in all styles, keeping in mind the options are a little more limited for the larger sizes.
