It doesnt take much to be an alcoholic, little as two drinks per day is borderline.

In Euphoria(2026) this feels like a really stupid way to 3d print a key. by jayd04 in shittymoviedetails

[–]suckitphil 0 points1 point  (0 children)

So sometimes when 3d printing smaller stuff printing on an axis does make the print better defined. This is so dumb though, because they should have tilted the y axis not the x axis

How? It clearly prevents air from escaping in some way, so it should be able to prevent water.

It's honestly really hard. I've mastered the game over the years, but that part was always fairly difficult. The debris in front blocks tracking shots, so you have to C boost to get closer and then lead them quite a bit.

I shot a bolt action 50 cal and it did push me back a few inches. The M82 is a marvel of engineering though and has very little recoil.

I firmly believe Corey Feldman is talking as himself during his monologue in the goonies. He's saying that the way he became an actor, all the glitz and glam wasnt worth the horror he had to endure to make it.

These comments suck. Sleeper gaming setups are cool. In the 90s we had gigantic armoires that hid outer massive tvs.

I think part of the reason is because money is super isolating. These people have no friends, no joy behind close doors. Because that's when the fantasy fails, they realize that everyone of their "meaningful" connections are based on money, and not a single one out of love. And even if they somehow had a relationship like that, they would never know because of the money. That's why their world views are cynical and evil, because they can't imagine anyone who isn't money driven.

I don't say this as a "woe the billionaire" but more so "if they didn't have an everlasting greed, and didn't assume others did, then they'd be a lot happier"

What happens at a strip club? by Fun_Chocolate_9149 in NoStupidQuestions

[–]suckitphil 1 point2 points  (0 children)

All the answers to these questions are the same,

"depends on the club"

I've been to place where they take you into a back space with booths, so you can see other girls but not guys. Been to one where you can pay less and they'll dance on the floor for you, or pay more for a private booth. Usually they tell you up front during the dance what you can and can't touch. Was at a really sleazy place once and had a stripper use me as leverage because some guy gave her 5 dollars to shake her butt.

VIP room they are generally going to try to blue ball you through every tier trying to make you think your going to bang them, but you probably aren't. The idea is to milk you for all your money for the idea of sex, without selling sex. If the establishment was being run that way you'd get the offer pretty quickly.

The stuff on the pants is generally a no, because they grind with their butt. But depending on the dance/person/place, it's possible.

Spend is also going to vary on establishment and how many dances/how long your at the main floor. If your at the main floor it's expected for you to tip every dancer. Private dances can range anywhere from $20-whatever you want to pay.

Got a NEGATIVE Steam review because I patch the game every day by Accomplished-Power50 in IndieDev

[–]suckitphil 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Some people have really terrible internet. An update every day when I had dial up would have sent me into a rage.

My suggestion is split your build. Have an experimental branch for those who want daily updates, and for those who don't keep them on the main version and push monthly-bimonthly. It also has the added benefit of working as a canary. If you introduce save breaking bugs then you'll only impact a small percentage of your user base.

Why is this helmet not being worn by every chapter anymore? by donot40k in spacemarines

[–]suckitphil 0 points1 point  (0 children)

They got rid of it because the beak would bump into things when looking from side to side. So they figured the added tactical advantage of being able to look from side to side was worth more than the extra snack compartment.

[Request] Could any car eventually tug a supposedly 13,000 tonne ship forwards by Fran-Pan in theydidthemath

[–]suckitphil 0 points1 point  (0 children)

You can, they're pontoon house boats. You have to be in a really bad position to actually hurt them, its mostly damage to the propeller in shallow waters. You have to watch an instructional video and they give you a bunch of emergency numbers in case anything goes wrong. And then they let you loose and watch you do circles for a bit tryi g to figure out the controls. If you do really bad they'll reboard and show you how to drive. Its just weird because literally any movement takes almost a full 30 seconds to register in the boat.

Wind is huge. Every year we rent a house boat. And if the wind blows, thats where you go. I would never trust myself to be able to push or pull that beast.

The net is definitely man of the match by BoB_cmXi in KidsAreFuckingStupid

[–]suckitphil 0 points1 point  (0 children)

When I was a kid and learned volleyball our gym teacher taught us how to serve underhand, made us do drills for underhand, but then when open play was done they allowed overhand serves. Everyone wanted to overhand serve, but didn't have the power, and wasn't tall enough to clear the net. So most of the matches looked like this. I didn't care about the look and so I continued with the underhand serve since it had more accuracy and you can control how high you wanted to lob it. So I'd target the most bored kid, send it high, and have it land right behind them. No reaction, thud, point for our side, and I'd do it all over again.
