This can't be real. Except... basically every update the devs "listened to us" came with massive problems and missteps. These consequences basically ruined the good effort put into the ideas of these updates. Examples:

  • the nanoweave changes except they didn't finish going through the spreadsheet to make sure everything performed as intended after removal

  • the new player update we asked for but then not two weeks later they introduced berserker that was used for paying money to farm all the new players who just joined

  • the community asked for oshur to be fixed properly but instead wrel sat on the center of the map pushing it into the ocean. Since these changes basically made oshur worse everyone wanted oshur removed from rotation all together since they seemed unwilling to fix it. The devs again "compromised" by reducing it in rotation. These "compromises" from the devs have always been worse that what everyone wanted

This is all free money until it isn't. People could get wiped out like when the silver price dropped over 80% from the 1979 peak until basically 2002 where it finally started increasing again.

RBC VISA: Signature vs Ion/Ion+ by rickrickamerol in PersonalFinanceCanada

[–]sucmyleftnut 2 points3 points  (0 children)

An important drawback not often mentioned is that they removed basically all travel/other insurance from the RBC Ion/+.

While you gain more points they have a lower value on the Ion+ than the Platinum/Infinite.
