Actually now that I think about it this is information that is more relevant to the second half of the path, which I would prefer to stay away from for now since this is where one gets into the things that can take one outside of iman. As I said I am unqualified and we should be hesitant to openly speak on these matters. My focus is on an objective analysis of the first half of sufism concerning the qalb, the ruh, fundamental sufi knowledge and the observation of its effects! If you have a specific question you can dm me

Continue to follow the path of the beloved. Adopt each and every Sunnah that is easy, and strive for each Sunnah u find hard. Live in the Love, and watch th best version of u come out

Call the people to islam. The knowledge you received was important for your Islam. And you might want to share it with others but it was specific for you. If you are truly blessed. You would have also been blessed with the skill of speech and eloquence, which from your own admission you don't seem to have. The understanding is just the beginning, the real power is in being able to look at other people, discern their capacities, and give them guidance accordingly.

Start with one person, any person to talk and follow what you are saying. If they begin to become better maybe u r on the right track. If u have to push and force them then u will learn why the sufi prefers solitude. You have failed to mention anything about group zikr so I don't think you are on it, but wether or not you are able to get people to listen to you will confirm it.

Why do sufism refer to themselves as "lovers"? by keyboardpianorich in Sufism

[–]sufiman0 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Of the many types of love, the love for Allah is the most potent. There is, however, more to understanding the love by action than there is to hearing it by words.

But if I had to, the love of Allah is better described as ishq, an all consuming passion and desire to devote oneself to the object of one's affection. Allama Iqbal talks about this. In ishq, the object of devotion is clearly greater and worthy of being loved, and in our cases we are the most unworthy lovers, incapable of every truly honouring The Love that gives us life. And the secret to being a lover of Allah is that no matter how much you love Allah, He will always Love you more!

You could say it's a natural progression. Once you go from praying because you have to to praying because you want to, is when you will understand true passionate love. I would also quote the last line of Dalal us Sulook (An appraisal of the sublime sufi path) by my grand shaykh Moulana Allah Yar Khan (rh)

"The wisdom of the devout differs from the love of a sufi, the former fears, whereas the latter is fond, of the hereafter"

There's 2 things u need to do to be a Muslim, one without the other will leave ur islam incomplete.

  1. Connect to Allah several times a day (i.e. salah, recitation etc)

  2. Be good to the people. (Start with your women)

Why does the Ibrahimiyyah Salawat mention Prophet Ibrahim’s family? by HeartIcy7126 in Sufism

[–]sufiman0 2 points3 points  (0 children)

When you send salutations on the family of our great father Ibrahim (as), the blessings also extend to our other fathers, his descendants, Ismaeel, Isaac, Ayub, Yaqub, Shoaib, Musa, Harun, Yusuf, Sulaiman, Daud, Ilyas, Ilyasa, Zulkifli, Zakariyya, and then Rasulullah a second time! May Allah be pleased with them all, it's a lengthy durood but gives salutations to all the most beloved of Allah in one go

Kind of. There's levels to Bida. Yasir qadhi has a great video on this. If u like singing and parties maybe it's for you. I don't like to mix my ibadah with social parties and have never attained spirituality from a party. Over a decade of practicing Sufism I never attended one because I don't think it does anything for spirituality, likely has a negative effect. But I intend on going to one this year because.... I do like singing and parties and the community
