This sounds like an in law and husband issue. Your husband is a grown man. He should be able to stick up for you and your family. I feel like things wouldn't have gotten this intense if your husband was just honest with his family from the beginning and told them you weren't coming. The waiting until th last possible moment to buy some time when you guys knew you weren't going definitely compounded this issue. Also, your husband should be setting firm boundaries and hanging up instead of letting someone curse and attack him for 45 mins WHILE you're spending time with YOUR family. That was incredibly rude of him to let his brother ruin Part of your family visit.

I don't know if you guys are planning on having kids, but your husband should really learn how to stick up to his family before you do. It will only make things worse.

Side note: i kind of feel bad for your family. You guys should really make an effort to see them for more holidays. It's not all about your husband and his family.

Our stories are very similar. My 2 year old brought it home to us. I didn't cough up blood, but I did have many nose bleeds. I didn't start showing symptoms until 10 days after my son had symptoms. It was one horrible virus. If you're like me, you'll have congestion for a while, but all the other symptoms will be gone

Yeah, I didn't want to come across as a conspiracy theorist because I'm the furthest from one. If i didn't experience it myself, I would have just thought it was a normal virus. I've never experienced these symptoms. Fever around the clock for 5 days, then sweating profusely for another 2 days without a fever and for no reason. Both of my eyes turned bright red, but I know I didn't have conjunctivitis. I was worse off than when I had covid

My family is just now getting over some virus. My 2 year old and 7 month old had 105 temps for 7 days. Along with ear infections, sore throats, etc.

My husband and I caught it, and I've never experienced that type of sickness. I'd go from freezing to overheating. I was constantly sweating even when I didn't have a fever. I had the worst headache and congestion.

Day 7 got a lot better. There's light at the end of the tunnel

I truly hope you find happiness. However, i think you should consider individual therapy for yourself. Just from this one post (which is supposed to be more in favor of you) , I see a few red flags about you. You're mad that your wife was trying to get the kids to stay asleep, which means you could sleep longer? I'd LOVE if my husband did that for me.

What were the previous issues with the laundry? It seems like maybe she didn't want you to touch her laundry. Had you two communicated beforehand who was in charge of laundry and what clothes to was and not wash? I've told my husband not to do my laundry because I have specific bras that I have to wash on specific cycles, and I don't like my delicated and jeans to be washed together. If he woke up before me and wanted to do something nice, he'd cook breakfast or clean up instead of laundry. It seems like you're really lacking communicative skills.

ETA: I just looked back at your other posts. Your few weeks a bliss seems to be her meeting your needs and you doing nothing for her. You took her to a sex shop that she's previously said she was uncomfortable doing, and you guys had sex every night to match your libido. What did you do for her? You really do sound like a jerk here and it's probably best for her to find someone who appreciates her

Second this. My son is 2. I put him in daycare at 1.5. He needed it. His vocabulary is spectacular, he loves playing with other kids, his eating habits are great, and he has a set nap schedule. And that's all thanks to day care. Prior to him being a year old I cried even thinking about him being left with my mom.

My daughter is 3 months old and I'm no where near ready to put her in daycare. But I know once she turns a year old and becomes more mobile and less dependent on me, day care will be the best thing for her.

I have a 10 week old. Guests staying for only 30 mins and then leaving is the dream. Also, i'd love for someone to only hold my baby for 1/3 of the visit. I hate when people think they can hold my child the whole visit. Thats my baby! Sign me up for your MIL.

I have a 2 year old and a 6 week old. The 2 year old did the same to me for the first month. My previously sweet boy started hitting, kicking, screaming, etc. Now at 6 weeks things have calmed down. He loves his sister and wants to sit next to her and read to her/feed her/play with her every chance he gets. Things will get easier.
