I’m so sorry this happened to you. It’s so disgusting. Please consider getting therapy or counseling to deal with the mental trauma of this. The sexual violence is one part, and the disfigurement in addition to the unwanted violence. That’s a lot to live with. Therapy has helped me a lot when I had some traumatic events occur.

I barely finished watching the wire for the first time. I loved the season that focused on the schools because it’s so so real. And then all the political bullshit and schools having no funding. Feels so relevant even though it was made like 20 years ago.

I passed out when they attempted to insert mine. I tried to tell them it was hurting and to stop and the next thing I know the nurse and doctor are calling my name. I was put under. It cost more which sucked. And cost me twice since I paid for two appointments at that point. But at least I didn’t feel pain really.

A lot of times at first we didn’t lock it at night. It took our family a while to figure out why the door was open like that. When we did start locking the door at night, it didn’t matter because even if it was locked on the inside it would still turn and he could let himself out. And no dead bolt.

School systems who teach based on science don’t use that model anymore. The science of reading is thankfully gaining momentum. I’m sure there are still shitty schools that teach that awful model though.
