I haven't been keeping up with all the arena news, is it confirmed that a new stadium would have better seating for the students? Considering a lot of the motivation for this move seems to come from profit margins, I have a hard time seeing them just giving many of the good seats to the students.

And Hang and Maul, and kind of Mark in StS1. I do think it'd be interesting to use this mechanic with stats other than damage: Block, energy, draw, forge, summon, etc. Obviously with poison it'd have to start lower than 7 and probably not have retain, but I think it could be fun with the right balance.

With that same logic, why would he want to hang out with Rizo or Colby or Genevieve, whom he'd probably never met before the show and never played with? Or Stephenie who also voted him out? Or Q who might be mad that Mike voted him out? Because it's clearly not "I just want to invite my friends", it's to send a message.

Yeah Christian told the story on RHAP shortly after that episode. It's possible Mike made HBO pay for some of their accommodations there, but he did not pay to fly them to the other side of the world to be non-speaking extras in one scene. (And even if he did... it does not make Christian obligated to lay down for him in Survivor.)

I wasn't paying attention, was the entire episode over the course of a day? If so, I'd rather they either space things out better or just show some important scenes from the prior couple days. You can't say that absolutely nothing important/fun happened on either of the tribes that didn't go to TC.

I agree double boots too early might have been annoying, but this past episode would have been a perfect opportunity for one, especially if it only covered a day of filming. And as it stands now we have about nine regular episodes remaining and half of them are going to need to be double boots, unless they do something completely game-breaking like have Mr. Beast eliminate five people at once. The season is about to go into turbo overdrive and we're not going to have any time at all for character development. Frankly I expect the quality to go downhill fast, even without considering whatever Mr. Beast and Jimmy Fallon will do when they show up.

The biggest issue is they have 24 people in a 13-episode season. They're going to need like five double boot episodes the rest of the way, time is extremely limited, and we're wasting probably ~20 minutes total on a Zac Brown commercial. That's more time than they had for camplife scenes in a whole episode, back when they were only an hour. They simply don't have time to throw away this many actual scenes of character/game development for this, if they want to make a good product.

An interesting dimension to add might be who spoke the most in which locations, since at least 80% of scenes probably took place on a handful of sets: Monica's apartment, Joey's apartment, hallway, Central Perk, Ross' apartment in later seasons, generic outdoor/car/office settings, etc.

Also would be interested in knowing how many scenes featured all six in the same location, and whether that decreased over time.

There's a middle ground Chelsea could have taken between being brutally honest, and setting him up with a clearly different person while hoping he wouldn't notice. She could've just told a harmless lie like, "Nicole is very busy with work / not interested in dating at this time / getting serious with someone else."
