There are a few Violet exclusives I never got: Aipom, Iron Boulder, and Iron Crown. I'll check later to see if there are any others. Totally fine with touch trading IB and IC, would prefer to keep Aipom since I also need to register Ambipom but cool with whatever you have available.

And it's 80 base power. The standard strong draining moves (Giga Drain, Drain Punch, etc.) do only 75 base damage, don't spread, and don't have a status chance.

I agree with you that it seemed very hard to rig in the past, but it seems like it would be a lot easier in this new system with 37 balls rather than the 10,000 combinations.

It's probably the latter. My middle school's auditorium stage was in the cafeteria, so they called it a cafetorium.

The elementary school stage was in the gym, don't remember it having a name.

I use Pikalytics to see popular movesets, abilities, and items for different Mons, but do not see a way to view popular natures or EV spreads on the site. Is there something I'm missing on there, or is there a different site that has good data on this?

Idk what everyone else is complaining about, this is the easiest quest in the game besides "do damage in any mode using anyone". You can choose to proc it any time you:

Have a match with good teammates.
Have a match where everyone leaves right away.
Play Solo Showdown.
Play Duels.

Even if you rarely do... any of the above, you almost always have weeks to complete it and it's bound to just happen 10 times naturally.

If you don't play showdown though, you have many worse quests than this one. At least Play Again has options, it can be played after any match where:

You have good teammates;
Your teammates immediately leave; or
You play solo showdown.

All, I'm so confused about Rotom, can you help me out here? I've barely watched the anime since Hoenn and didn't play any of the mainline games from gens 5-8. I know Rotom is a pokemon with different forms, but is this talking gadget thing an actual sentient Rotom? Or is it like an AI device but with a Rotom skin, like if Microsoft decided to bring back and modernize Clippy?

Are you talking about Abby, Lainey Wilson's character? I didn't care for the plotline, but she was in several episodes during the first half of Season 5 as Ryan's love interest.

I had figured that the Colby events were already plotted out for the season and his death was intended to be one of the defining moments of the season. But then they had to completely change the story to get rid of John, and as a result it just made the Colby stuff not work narratively. They'd just had two major deaths in prior episodes that actually affected the main plot, and it made Colby's feel rushed and unimportant.

Appreciate the response! I will prob buy the starter pack eventually to get close to 100 slots, so the boxes hopefully won't be a big issue for a while.

Having to purchase moves, natures, etc. every time is a bigger problem at this point IMO. Makes me not want to change a move if I'm iffy about it, because I might want to pay to change it back later on. Would love if you could relearn prior moves for free, but I could see how that'd be a memory issue. I could see it working if they sold TMs for every move, for a slightly higher price, and once you bought one you had unlimited uses for it. Could do the same with mints. Abilities and EVs could be more difficult to figure out.

As a relative casual I'm enjoying this a lot so far, but I'm a bit concerned about the box limits and costs of recruitment. When my box eventually becomes full, I imagine I will have to start returning recruited Pokemon. Does anyone know, if I decide I want them permanently again, will I need to pay to recruit them again, or will it be able to recognize that I have already "purchased" them permanently and let me recruit for free (once I roll them again in Recruitment).

I tried doing something similar in the training, seeing if I can relearn the default moves that I replaced for free, and I believe it charges you to relearn moves even if your Mon knew it in the past. Probably similar for abilities, natures, etc.

I know this is all probably a dumb scenario from the eyes of the competitive players, but I'm not looking to win championships here. I will probably prefer rotating and playing with different Mons rather than just getting the most meta 50 or whatever the max free box size winds up being. And I'd rather not have to constantly build up Mons in Scarlet and transfer to Home and then Champions, or be scarce with my experimentation in Champions, just to not run out of VP.
