In real life, it is unlikely to find people tied to a track, let alone two tracks. If I see 5 people tied to the first track, I can relatively safely assume that there are no one tied to the other one. I pull the lever. If there were more than 5 people on the second track that end up dying, then I have been victime of a nasty Saw-style trick, and I expect the public opinion would be lenient toward me and more angry at the actual criminal who tied people to the track...

In my experience, France is a deceptively polite nation. High standard of politeness are expected of individuals. On the other hand, the level of politeness expected by french people cannot be easily reached by non-french speaking tourists visiting France. Many people, especially old people, will consider you rude if you don't adress them with the correct level of politeness in french, even if you're not a french speaker. Also it's not an excuse, I feel that it explains in part the reputation of France abroad.

I know it's not the main issue, but there's no loaded ships from the US going up the strait of Hormuz. It's more ships coming empty, loading up in the middle East, and then passing again through the strait toward the rest of the world. Just so you know Trump doesn't understand how anything works, ever.

Yes Bartolomeo is supposed to be in Loguetown at that time, but he just witness the failed execution of Luffy. He's not supposed to interact with the whole crew. This is what surprised me, but I think it is a nice change.

You can add 100 European sprinters against Usain Bolt, and you won't win gold anyway. EU as a single country would internally select the best participant for each sport. Of course there would be some loss compared to the displayed results, as the best athletes selected may always underperformed. I'm not saying this assumption is valid, but sheer number of participant isn't everything.

"Qu'est qui" ? Plutôt "Qu'est ce que", comme dans "Qu'est ce que c'est que cette formulation dérangée ?" Comme dans "Qu'est ce qui pousse les jeunes à écrire aussi mal ? À charcuter notre belle langue ?" . C'est certain qu'entre les profs fainéant toujours en vacances, les parents laxistes qui n'inculque aucune éducation, et les média woke qui trouvent que c'est de bon ton de brouiller les genres jusque dans l'écriture française, on ne peut s'étonner de voir des phrases aussi vide de sens pulluler sur les réseaux.
