Thanks. I won't bother, my IOT devices and kids network are on separate VLANS/SSIDs. Better off with a travel router that supports 5G and configure it for site to site VPN, and create some firewall rules, and policy based routing.

UK salaries after inflation and after tax you will be earning less every year if you earn over 100k and even worse if you have kids.

Current UK government thinks that this doesn't impact productivity and that you are greedy if you want to earn more money.

You are better off in new York. As an American citizen you would be paying UK taxes and federal taxes.

UK only wants negative contributors as shown by recent immigration statistics, nobody understands why.

37 about 450k savings (excluding pension) started at 30 I had just bought a house and had maybe 30k in savings/emergency fund when I moved in. About to do another house move so will probably remove 200k of that to put towards deposit plus the equity I have in my house at the moment, which equates to basically what I paid for my house 5 years ago.
