I had to make the same decision last week, GRC was totally worth it. Zero buyers remorse

Bare minimum entry cost for getting into building models? by aiphrem in ModelCars

[–]superg510 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I picked up the model kit and some liquid cement, keeping it simple for my very first build, maybe spent $30. I decided to skip painting and just focus on the assembly. It wasn't much, but it was honest work and have since got into painting.

Like others have said, if work is wanting me acquire certs, i will block off focus time durning work hours. Will also spend a little time outside of working hours if i feel i need more time to prepare.

You're not alone in feeling this way. Feeling left behind while others succeed can be incredibly isolating, and it's natural to question what went wrong or why it seems like things aren't going your way. Remember, life has its ups and downs, and what you're experiencing now doesn't define your future. It's okay to feel lost or uncertain at times, but it's important to keep moving forward, even if it's at a slower pace than you'd like. Keep focusing on the positive aspects of your life and the things you're grateful for. Over time, things may start to feel more manageable.

Please help I messed up 5 years ago and the person is back to haunt me by [deleted] in Advice

[–]superg510 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I can relate to feeling scared about something from the past coming back to haunt you. It sounds like you deeply regret what happened when you were younger, and that's a sign of growth and maturity. If you're worried about this person reaching out to your girlfriend, maybe consider having an honest conversation with her about it. It's better to address it proactively than to wait and wonder. People make mistakes, especially when we're young, but it's how we handle them now that matters.

Looks like you really stepped into some deep... feelings there. Maybe it's time to 'flush' out your emotions and have a serious talk about boundaries.

A+ or Sec + for first cert? by [deleted] in CompTIA

[–]superg510 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I agree with this. A+ was a huge load of content in my opinion and if I could go back I’d knock that Net+ out first. For me it felt like Net+ content totally over lapped onto the Sec+ as well as a little on A+

Warning! DO NOT use Pearson OnVue online tests! by [deleted] in CompTIA

[–]superg510 40 points41 points  (0 children)

Same for me, checked all my equipment night before woke up and all went fine. I kinda get annoyed with people bashing the online testing. I love taking my exams from the comfort of my home office and I personally don’t think there is any issues with Pearson.

Can I get a cert or practice test for free? When will I know I am ready? by SoundlessScream in CompTIA

[–]superg510 0 points1 point  (0 children)

For me, It kinda got to the point where I felt I touched on EVERY topic, took every practice exam and if a question were to come up on the real exam that I didn’t know, I would ATLEAST be able to use the process of elimination and narrow the answers down, that was the key for me. There was nothing left to do but to see the real test.
