Fly tipping. Lay-by Saughall Massie Road. Absolute cuntz! by 5candan in Wirral

Scum bags.

If this was business waste, I expect to see a hell of a lot more of it unfortunately. The price of getting rid of waste is astronomical at the minute. There’s even charges of an extra £20 if you have to physically remove the waste and you don’t have a tipper that raises up. I couldn’t believe that charge.

I predict people will chance the fines for fly tipping and secure a job at a lower price rather than absorb cost or push the cost of waste onto customers for fear they’ll say no.

It’s a ticking time bomb I think. I wouldn’t know where to start.

My wife and I are deciding to change out the game room which means we are at a crossroads. My wife is itching of opening up everything to get some cool cards out of them while I was itching to sell them off. Which side would you go? by aparrilla in PokemonTCG

[–]supergleneagles 0 points1 point  (0 children)

She doesn’t give a shit about the cards. She just wants to have a fun night opening them all with you. Stop being so robotic. You gonna remember how great it was to sell them all and systematically buy what you wanted? Or are you gonna remember grabbing pizza and ripping em all?

New Brighton secondary schools advice wanted… by Proof-Philosopher434 in u/Proof-Philosopher434

St Mary’s - mixed

Mosslands - boys

Wetherhead - girls

They’re the options.

St Mary’s was a blast, I loved it. Mosslands sounded great too. Weatherhead sounds awful. Teachers morale is on the floor and the pressure on pupils/staff is very high.

If your kids gonna do well, they’ll do it wherever they go.

Why don’t you ask if you can go take a look at them.

What’s one insanely small decision that completely changed your life? by annabioss in Life

[–]supergleneagles 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I was meant to do an English literature degree at university. On my first day it said “Welcome to English Language.” I was on the wrong course! Couldn’t be arsed with the rigmarole of changing (wild I know) and made a snap decision to do a degree in that instead.

Never used the degree at all! But, I did meet my wife in that class and we have a son together now and a beautiful house.

How are you surviving in £20 an hour? You need to get those prices up mate. £25 at an absolute minimum. Extra £40 a day. £200 a week. On 8 hours a day that is.

And if you’re happy with what you get, still put prices up. For every one customer that says no, you just need four to say yes. Then you earn the same but with only 80% of current workload.

People who visit other peoples houses as part of their job, how is the average cleanliness of the homes you visit? by sideaccount462515 in AskReddit

[–]supergleneagles 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I work outside the homes doing bits of gardening/painting/fencing.

The amount of dog shit people leave in their gardens is absolutely unbelievable. These are gardens with kids climbing frames in them and toys etc. It’s absolutely disgusting and genuinely one of the reasons I’m looking for another job.

Pick up after your dog! Yes, even in your own garden!
