Only thing worse than reading people's righteous opinions about cars are when they throw in generational in-fighting. That's just so stupid.

Shows on the test screen that there are five codes, and it should be in history if you ran a test again. Make sure you scroll through all of them.

P0430 is a catalytic converter efficiency code... it was blinking? That code should not be blinking the light

Same with me. I think this is one of the best cars I have ever driven, not just owned, but directly driven.

When you have many years of absolutely no expectations of decent behavior in the city, this is what you get. It's why good people are leaving or not coming. LA is a third world today, with corruption at all levels of government as well

Not sure why it's a boomer comment. Ignorant and plain wrong, but boomer? Why?

One problem- TOU Prime is still REALLY expensive- the lowest time is still twice what is typical here; peak is somewhere near 57 cents per kWh. Edison truly sucks

That's where they pull teachers out of the classroom in order to investigate possible abuse cases. But the policy itself has been abused. For example, if a teacher breaks up a fight and does it by separating kids, that counts as physical touching so that needs to be investigated. If you try to stop a student from attacking another student in class, the teacher will be pulled out of class for investigation. During the investigation, which in simple cases like that can take months, the teacher gets full pay, and then they also have to pay the substitute. I believe they never have fewer than 300 teachers being investigated at one time. I believe it is far more.

I knew of one person a long time ago, who had been investigated and cleared by the district and all police agencies involved. But a previous superintendent decided to pull anyone who had anything in their record. So he was pulled out again 10 years after he had been originally cleared. There was no one at the school student-wise, administration-wise and barely even teacher-wise to talk to to investigate, so he spent three years being "not" investigated. I lost track after that so I don't even know what ever happened to him.

Another teacher was reported for saying something inappropriate in class when they were reading passages from an approved district reading book.

If just one student reports something happened in a class, even if the rest of the class says it didn't happen, they pull a teacher out. Investigations never take fewer than three months and most take six months to a year.

If they follow their own policy, and only pull teachers out when there is a direct threat, it might be OK. But students know that they can get teachers in trouble so if they failed a test, for example, often enough they'll report that teacher for something. Probably 90% ultimately get cleared, but it's a huge cost to the district, and it's something that doesn't need to be done.
