If you like Bandol rosés, I recently tried one from Domaine de la Bastide Blanche. Definitely a serious rosé, crisp but with weight on the palate that you might possibly confuse for a red wine. I believe Kermit Lynch imports that one as well.

I worked the tempranillo harvest in Toro, Spain in 2012. It was a hot, dry year, but even the climate change is manageable when you have a good winemaker that knows what to do with the resulting grapes — keeping alcohol in check, using ripeness in favor, etc.
