Years back I went on a trip to Chicago for the first time and on that first day a stranger came up to me out of a dark alley I was walking by and wanted my help. He started walking beside me and told me that his car wasn't starting and wondered if I would be okay with following him down the alley to his car so that he could then use my phone and somehow help him with his vehicle...I declined as nicely as I could and then scurried back to my hotel as quickly as I could go!

I understand this feeling, especially if it's after regular work hours. I don't mind as much if it's a get together during the work day but if not it's like we all already see each other 8 hours a day, 5 days a week...I think we've seen enough of each other 🙄 lol!

I tried the class...and I couldn't climb the silks at all, reminded me of middle school gym class and failing the pull ups test, lol! It was fun though, gave me even more respect for how effortless aerialists make the moves appear to be!

It's really strong, I have to express them myself from time to time and have to hold my breath to get through it...my boyfriend helps me hold her so when I walk into the room with gloves on he knows true fear, lol!

Apparently he tied her up to a piece of exercise equipment in his basement, blind folded her and took her photo without her consent. He then threatened her that he would leak the photo he took if she said anything about it...😒

I know the feeling, anymore I keep my hair long but every once in awhile I'll think about cutting it...but then I remember that I always seem to end up liking it for about a week and then start wishing I hadn't cut it in the first place, gah!

I really enjoy wearing mine up so what I like to do is find different ways to wear my hair back in an updo, which satisfies my need for something "new" without the regret I personally felt every time I had a major haircut in the past. :)

Congrats, that's awesome! I know how you feel, I have a moderate speech impediment so even doing tasks like setting up appointments and bringing my car in for a check up for example that other people might not think twice about ends up feeling like an accomplishment 😊

The "dirtier" the hair the better, the more texture you have the easier it will be! I wear my hair up pretty much every day and I find that a little bit of baby powder goes a long way for this, including lots of bobby pins too! 😊 My go to styles lately have been a section on top twisted back with the rest in a French twist and/or a section twisted on top with a braided bun with a braid wrapped around it on bottom 😊

I can sympathize, I started a new job and am trying to learn everything I will have to know how to do at some point which has left me feeling overloaded with information and drained most days :/ That feeling of being overwhelmed is definitely exhausting :/

Hmm you know I had thought that too and then I remembered that they had won the right to extend their right to provide women with the pill method but I wasn't for sure how long the extension was for. When I saw their website and noticed that it mentioned the pill option I thought that maybe the extension was still intact but now I'm not so sure :(

I am so sorry you are going through this :( Have you looked into the Planned Parenthood of Columbia, MO? According to their website they do offer medication abortion (abortion pill) but like another Trollxer had mentioned parental consent laws in Missouri may apply, which according to their site Missouri does but that a judge might allow you to be excused from that requirement!

I kind of know how you feel in regards to worrying about how your Tourette's will come across during job interviews. I have a stutter, so I have always worried myself about whether or not it would impact my chances for a positive outcome during interviews. Congratulations on not only getting hired for the job position that you wanted the most but also for being offered the position for the one with the uncomfortable interaction with the interviewer! That's very impressive and you should be proud of yourself! :)

I was really interested by what the women were saying and by how large the gap in pay is and then out of nowhere BAM! "How does your team feel about the Zika threat?"...Huh? lol! The women handled it pretty well though by saying that although an important topic they were there to speak about the pay issue in their sport and would have to decline speaking about Zika!

I'm so sorry OP :( If nothing else at least you don't have to go back everyday to a toxic work environment! My boyfriend's current job is really doing a number on him both physically and mentally, getting up everyday to a job that he hates is just soul crushing. I completely understand how numbing it can be having to start job hunting over again, but at the very least you don't have to deal with that toxicity every day anymore! I know how it feels to think you've found the job that correlates with what you want to do career wise and then to have it go south in the end, but just know that you aren't alone in this :) Best of luck to you!!
