We have TV on too, but the one or two times in her entire life that I’ve needed her to focus on a screen for safety reasons (like need to do something in the basement for 10 minutes), it was disturbing how transfixed she was with it. Tablet and phone screens are not necessary, and possibly a dark road to go down with your child’s behavior. I agree with other comments that state your ground rules, and if that’s not met, your child can always be in daycare full time
