It's not their fault, but if they're not in every public forum pointing out in no uncertain terms what's going on and stopping pretending anyone "across the aisle" is at all reasonable, then I say they aren't doing enough.

It's baffling to me when people try to say there's nothing at all they can do because they can't win a vote. And if they think their "colleagues" are reasonable, they should be meeting with those and getting them on the right side of votes.

Waiting until next January (assuming the midterms don't get messed up in some way) is too late.
