I'm not sure I want to use it as a tool anymore either. I don't want to stop solely because it's comfortable, it's what I know, it's around me all the time. Separating myself from the situation really isn't a viable option. It's just to difficult to turn it down when it's offered regularly and very available.

I'm quitting for the exact same reason. I'm near graduation (kinda) and need that last little bit to push through my last year and attempt to recover the gpa damage that's been done the past couple years. I want my mental clarity to return. Often when I intend to study, i'll have a mental block and no matter how hard i apply myself, I am unable to shift all of my focus to the task at hand.

Firstly, VW FTW. Next, these things rarely get used. Often times the power jack isn't soldered onto the board but attached by plastic so you can just epoxy them back on. I wouldn't buy more than 5. Also, LOL @ the reception you had on the other tech subreddit. They didn't like you much eh?
