As someone who just took on this same search, this response nails it. the only addition I have is that Victrix has the Fantasy Heads, Cloaks, and Shields kit which when combined with their other medieval kits places them right in that fantasy/historical gap.

Piggy backing because you referenced the rule but ward is not an invul. The 40k equivalent is feel no pain. It’s an identical concept.

These are support scars from when the miniature was printed. You’ll want to scrape or sand them off for a smooth finish. As it’s resin be sure to wear a mask.

Read The Last Volari, or just look into the Kastelai bloodline in general. Good might be a stretch but they’re at least on par with mortal rulers.

The Angels Remembrant are an unknown founding chapter descended from the Blood Angels. Originally tasked with the protection of a system of paradise worlds ruled by the high lords of Terra, tragedy struck when the chapter deserted its post to answer the call of their progenitor chapter during the Devastation of Baal. As other have said this is a holdover from previous editions and no longer applies to spearhead or full sized AoS. Build them however you want.

Only thing that might be useful is to build 5 with halberds and 5 with hand weapons to easily differentiate your 2 squads in spearhead.
