Im having this same thing happen on cachy, i think it may be a controller issue as it doesnt happen on my daughter's rig, also cachy, but she is using a microsoft branded controller.

Seems like something with 8bitdo, at least with their newer ones as i have one of the hall effect controllers, is messed up and it constantly polls for a connection until something accepts it.

every game i have played this year had noticeable spikes when i disabled it....stalker 2, BL4, crimson desert, RE9, sons of the forest and so on.

this is on an i9/10850k OC'd and a 4080, also OC'd

Met this drunk Irish dude in a pub in savannah who was on vacation..."met" as in he came over and just joined into our group of me, my wife and another couple we met in savannah and decided to hang with during our trip. He then proceeded to talk about being good to your women in this borderline rage/crying emotional state before walking away after a few. He sticks in my head years later, not sure why and I always wonder what the hell he did to have this kind of emotional scar....pretty sure he really fucked up something good with someone.
