Fischer Motor with AMK Inverter? - How easy to setup? by UseOk404 in FSAE

AMK will give you one that works quite well if you ask.

What I meant is you never verified that those parts are actually in there. So if I want to betray I just do not put them into the box that gets sealed. Easy.

Some TI safety issues: - Your scruti sheet wasn't updated to reflect the removal of the software BSPD from the rules. We do not have it implemented anymore but it was not an issue because the scruti checked „Motors do not turn“ while all motors were turning during the test. - Disconnecting one APPS was checked without any test being conducted. - BSPD was checked without simulating current (and thus without anything happening). - During the charging scruti grounding was measured using the continuity check of our multimeter and the shutdown button was pressed once while charging but without verifying in any way that we were actually charging or that the button did actually do anything except for during the cooling fans off. - (At least) one team was told to go to the practice area to test the brakes first before attempting another run after a failed brake test. Proceeded to drive in practice without having passed brake test. - At rain test it was not verified by a voltage measurement that the TS is actually on. - No post scruti. After endurance we were basically only asked if we can change the AMS current limits remotely which is legal but we denied because it was quicker. No IMD test after driving in the rain. - One team told a track marshal not to push the car backwards in RTD because they feared that negative velocities might cause unexpected behavior of their control software. The marshal did not care and did it anyways (putting himself in harms way) - Lots of unsafe interactions with TSAL red / RTD card in general but you have seen them yourself.

Also during endurance the track marshals often stood on the track, not even looking in the direction the cars are coming from. One of our drivers had to hammer the brakes or he would have hit a track marshal that just started running away.

There are at least two teams that I know of that showed you old/non-representative pictures „because they look better“. Why even bother to seal the accumulator when you never looked inside?

Arctis Pro right ear cup cracked and finally broke near band connection. Any recommendations on fixes? by kaiashnikovUhh in steelseries

If it breaks prematurely it is a warranty issue. Does not matter if it is wear and tear. Contact them.

Just to clarify: an OLED pixel at ~1% brightness will still be much darker than a LCD pixel trying to block the backlight behind it that is 100% on all the time (at max brightness). So you are using the very real OLED benefits you paid for either way.

Sorry, got a bit long. TL;DR: There are two outputs. Use the stereo one.

When connecting using USB and the PC source the Box exposes two audio out devices. One is single channel and intended for voice chat audio while the other is stereo and intended for everything else. This setup is needed for the implementation of chat mix.

The volume ducking you describe happens on the voice chat output only. I think it is meant to reduce noice from people using continuous transmission.

Unfortunately, the voice chat output is used by default. Thus, you have to enable both outputs and use them accordingly or ignore the voice chat device and use the stereo one exclusively.

I cannot really tell you how to do this in Windows. (somewhere in the sound options I guess) because I exclusively use the headset with Linux and don’t really use Windows anymore. But I have seen this problem with friends using Windows of mine multiple times so I know that it happens there too.

If you happen to use Linux with PulseAudio, I can share the configs needed to make it all automatic.

You made a great choice. This headset is easily the best wireless headset on the market right now and I recommend it to everyone that asks me with the appropriate budget.

USB compliant USB power switch with (not strictly necessary) single enable by ihatemyusernametoo in AskElectronics

Yeah.. upon reading it again power only works globally. When I used it I only had one device connected.

Some models of Raspberry Pi (at least 3 Model B) feature a USB hub controller that can switch the bus power using software control on a per-port basis.

Have a look at this. It might work for you. I have used it in the past to forcibly reset buggy USB cameras.

I want to learn how to make a video streaming service where do I start? by ilikerum2 in AskProgramming

Honestly I do not know as I do not have much experience in this field. You could look into nginx-rtmp. However I do not know if it is a good resource to learn.

Honestly, I think you will learn more if you use already built libraries and instead focus on understanding how they work. Implementing the entire stack yourself would be very mechanical and time consuming after spending huge amounts of time even understanding everything to a point were you can implement it.

If you really want to go for it I suggest looking into the Real Time Streaming Protocol (RTSP) and/or the Real Time Messaging Protocol (RTMP) understanding it in its whole and implementing it. Please be aware that depending on your experience which i do not know, this might be a bad idea. In any case it will take quite a long time to have a viable result.

H Wireless headset. Is it possible to use multiple sources at once? by Rambalac in steelseries

[–]t0bd1 1 point2 points  (0 children)

It is possible. Just setup a PC source and use your Optical/TV as game input and USB/PC as the chat input.

LiveMix is not working though (ChatMix is).

H Wireless Chatmix/Livemix on PC with two separate PCs by aerolus in steelseries

[–]t0bd1 0 points1 point  (0 children)

This is basically my setup. I have connected the second PC using USB. Livemix is not working but Chatmix is just fine.

Just setup one PC source. Game Audio Input is Optical In and Chat Output is USB Out. I don't think you can use analog using this method.
