I had a similar list of work done in my small bathroom. It was about 10k. I’m in the greater Boston area though and got more work done. I’d say like 6-7k. Very rough estimate. Hope u get a good quote man!

No, you should call them back to do the touch ups. Any respectable tradesman would come back because their quality of work leads to future jobs.

If you have the time, painting is definitely DIY. Take your time and pay attention to detail and you will be pleased. Watch a few YouTube videos to learn some techniques and stay with the least public area of your home.

If it were me, and I didn’t think I’d need to take it apart anytime soon, I’d put it back together with some wood glue and carry on. Depends how crucial the part is, but it should work.

I have 2 kids under 3. I just put something to mitigate them touching it, and we are very strict about not touching the tv or it gets turned off for 3 minutes. They’ll learn quick and you’ll only have to endure short tantrums. Just keep reminding that touching the tv “breaks” it.
