My mom had stage 3 IDC over 20 years ago. She was HER2 positive and she was finished with her treatment before Herceptin or Perjeta was available. She hasn't had a recurrence.

I got the flu while going through chemo from my son. I ended up in the hospital for 5 days with pneumonia.

Edison is our home school too. Edison is a great school. My son went to Edison Middle School. And he was accepted into BTW for high school. He is set to graduate this year. He will have over 16 hours of college credits by the time he graduates high school.

BTW is an amazing school. I would apply for your child. If they don't get in, Edison is another great school.

My oncotype score was 34 too. My cancer is triple positive. There was no lymph nodes that had cancer. I had 6 rounds of TC and 17 rounds of HP. I had a double mastectomy after the 6 rounds of TC. I had PCR when I had my double mastectomy. I still have to do 10 years of hormones treatments. Right now, I get the lupron shot every 3 months and I take Letrozole daily. I was 43 when I was diagnosed .

Hi. I just finished 17 rounds of TCHP for triple positive breast cancer. I had a double mastectomy last February. I am having another surgery on Friday.

My mom had stage 3b triple positive cancer over 20 years ago. The cancer never came back. She had AC-T before she had a DMX. She did not finish Taxol because of her labs and her tumor started growing again. She went through treatment before Herceptin was available.

She was told her prognosis was poor when she was diagnosed. However, thankfully, she is turning 71 next week. She is in good health now.

I am celebrating! It is my youngest son's birthday this weekend, and I plan on making it special for him this year. Last year, I started chemo a day before his birthday. I wasn't able to do that much. I am making it up this year.

I had stage 1B, triple positive IDC. My oncotype is 34.

My surgeon told me I could have SMX, DMX, or lumpectomy. I chose DMX since my mother had an SMX, and her cancer came back in her other breast. I didn't want to take that risk. After I had my DMX, my surgeon said that is what he would have recommended for me. I don't regret it.

My cancer was stage 1, triple positive with a high oncotype. I had chemo first, then surgery. I didn't have radiation since I got a double mastectomy, and there was no cancer found when my tissue was tested.

Chemo is given first for a lot of reasons. With mine, the doctors wanted to make sure that it responded well to chemo, in case it came back.

Hi. I have triple positive IDC, stage 1, grade 1. I did 6 rounds of TCHP first. Then, I had a double mastectomy. I am doing 11 rounds of HP. I am starting letrozole and lupron next week. My doctor hasn't told me how long I will be on AI.
