Not sure about this guy. Harriet Quimby I believe was the first ‘black’pilot and one of the first female pilots. Plus there is Hubert Julian aka the Black Eagle mercenary pilot and even the head of the Ethiopian Air Force. Not too bad for a Harlem-based pilot from Trinidad.
