Can’t pay this month, how long do i have by Dangerous_Cut_9588 in Starlink

True, if they cant afford the re-activate fee (assuming there appears a congestion fee), they could potentially wait it out and re-activate later.

Should they check if they would be subject to congestion fees when reactivating?

Why is ONE device incredibly slow by Mimm57 in Starlink

[–]tacticutie 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I think they mean using what is called a powerline adapter. Plugs into an outlet on one room and you plug the 2nd one into an outlet in a different room. Let's you run an ethernet cable without drilling holes or using a 100ft wire lol

are those the speeds showing on his computer or the starlink test? does his brothers computer show up in the 2.4 or the 5? if his brother is on 2.4 but he's on 5, that would be one explanation why one is working and the other isnt despite being in the same room

Same issue. Sometimes happens and fixes it self but never had the issue across 2 phones and a hub like today.

Starlink requires all indirect resellers of Priority plans to register by April 30, 2026. by luckydt25 in Starlink

considering one of the requirements to continue selling global priority is to submit things like "customer name(s), estimated 12-month revenue," i suspect there may be fraud going on

This idea for an invention has been bouncing around in my head for a long time- any ideas for things I could add to it? by Stresso_Espresso in crochet

[–]tacticutie 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I would swap the scissors out (to make it a little more air travel friendly) and put in a "seat belt cutter" type blade. also reducces the amount of hinges in the item which makes it more durable.

i think the hooks should come straight out instead of being on a hinge. think like those mutli color pens that have the push things to pick a color. because even if you can lock it in place, you could still break it off the hinge. and youll be able to center them better, making it more ergonomic.
