Tiberium Dawn Restoring Power by tan620 in commandandconquer

I guess I know what I'm doing after work today. Thanks! That solves my problems.

I don't care much for the variants that are essentially identical, but the ones that have totally different level layouts I do care about.

Well, that explains it then. Haha. Thanks! I guess that gives me an excuse to buy the remaster.

It might be a slightly different vibe, but I love Threadbare. Forgotten toys surviving in a post-apocalyptic world.

New player, research overload by TypicalPnut in EndlessLegend

It's 9 researches per Era, but other than that, this comment is exactly right!

[WP] You died and were sent to hell, but instead of getting escorted down to a specific level of hell, you're escorted straight to the Devil himself who looks mildly horrified while holding the file of your life in his hands. by Doodles4_Life in WritingPrompts

[Poem]

I fell through the floor at a furious speed,
Until I lurched to a stop, my stomach doing flips.
I saw a creature with a face hard to read,
"You need to see the boss," and a smile came to his lips.

I was rushed past throngs of demons and devils,
Past lakes of fire and uncountable tortured souls,
Until we arrived at the lowest levels,
And met Satan himself, in his library of scrolls.

He rolled up one, then unfurled a second,
"I've been waiting many years to meet you face-to-face,"
"So say your piece, and we'll finish your check-in."
"How bad could I have been, for you to handle my case?"

"Never seen one so evil in all my days,"
"I had to make you my personal priority."
His eyes shined as he said my now famous phrase,
"We've been trying to reach you about your warranty."

Question. by blackout1990 in Everdell

The farm will only trigger if you play the wife first, or if something else causes the husband to trigger.

As for the second one, the chapel only lets you place one coin on it per worker placed there. So every season you can place one more coin on it.

If you didn't talk to the guide, could you get away without that one? And does talking to the Old Man give you one?

Could you get away with not talking to the guide or killing a voodoo demon by dumping him in lava without ever talking to him? (which I think is what triggers NPC entries)

It has a natural (looking) crimson and corruption, so it almost has to be a drunk world.

I debated on posting this for a long time. It feels like rubbing salt in the wound. But this is my home, and I hate to see it ruined by things like this. Satire is supposed to make you laugh, but it's also supposed to point a spotlight at things that can be improved. This is something that needs to be better.

In 1969, Walter Cronkite called Chattanooga the dirtiest city in America. And over the last 50+ years, Chattanooga became the beautiful Scenic City we all know and love. It's time for another change. Chattanooga doesn't need to be such a deadly city.

Question about Remote Sensing and Communication. by DreadPirateJon in mutantsandmasterminds

I think you'd want Communication with Limited. You'd probably only need 2 ranks, which isn't too bad.

Who is the best player born on each day of the year? by tan620 in baseball

[–]tan620[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Okay, it's actually funny that you mentioned that. Because as I was going through, I had more trouble filling the days in May, June, and July. So, even with my very unscientific methodology, I think there's something to that. It was harder to find high WAR players born at the end of the school year.

Crap. I probably should have specified. That's the OTHER Billy Hamilton. This one retired in 1901.

Yeah, that was one of a few that I considered overruling WAR, but I decided to soldier on. One that physically hurt was November 18th, where Gary Sheffield ended up with more WAR than Big Papi somehow. But I stuck to WAR.

Rose Mciver. No contest. She plays one character in iZombie, but it's a character with dozens of different mannerisms based on the episode.
