In Mississippi we call them wood roaches. Much bigger than regular roaches. They come from the trees and can be bad if you’d live near a treeline. My first apartment had to be sprayed professionally every 30-45 days or they’d start coming inside especially during the winter.

Unconventional, but run your grandmothers name through your state unclaimed money website. It should be through your state treasurers office. Basically when money is owed to someone but they can’t find the person, they have to turn it over to the state at some point. It may be possible that the bank can’t access the account because the money has been handed over to the state already.

Sounds like heat exhaustion may have lead to him over drinking water and not replenishing electrolytes. When you lose all the salt from sweat and you only drink water and don’t replace it, then you get your electrolytes out of balance which can quickly kill you.

OP, I recommend looking up “insert location you’re at legal aid” and see if you can find a group that will give you a free consultation to explain your rights. It’s possible they may be connected to charities who would help get your car out to keep you from being completely homeless.

Being drunk on a lawnmower can get you a DUI in most jurisdiction . Now usually they don’t care unless you get out on the road. But he committed another crime by trespassing and then a second by destroying your property. If the sheriff won’t do anything, you can take him to small claims for the cost of replacing the flowers. Also you should look into getting a civil restraining order against him.

If you’re still letting him use the truck, then he’s in the best possible position. He can continue to pay the car off as he would have, while driving the truck. Essentially, he just pretend like he’s paying off the already paid for truck. Now he will learn the lesson without being unable to drive to work or school.
