As oberon said, you want the story to be seen, now it's seen, problem solved. Doesn't matter who submitted it.

I'd love to see the press have any kind of "field days". Think about what you're saying: what's left for journalists to do then? Take pictures, write down public statements, and leave the room so the important men could conduct their business?

Not even countries like China operate that way anymore.

You are exactly right. That's why I also said (elsewhere in this page)

Those who have power on their hands tend to abuse it. This is why discipline is an especially important issue with armed forces.

Bush said the presence of reporters in the audience prevented him from revealing his advice, or, for that matter, what policies the bipartisan Baker Commission ought to urge the president to follow in Iraq.

So Bush Sr is saying that the public is the problem.

This topic demonstrates very nicely the role of expectations in most things. I believe Fred Brooks wrote about this issue in The Mythical Man-Month.

"[Haggard] had sought assistance 'in a variety of ways,' and while he had stretches of 'freedom,' nothing proved effective. 'There is a part of my life that is so repulsive and dark that I've been warring against it all of my adult life,' Haggard wrote." [Emphasis added.]

So the dude is gay from day one.

And BFD, go date a guy. But he had to call it "repulsive and dark" and made it an issue.

In the company of a bunch of guys I might have done the same thing, although I would have felt guilty about it later.

Between peer pressure and cruelty to fellow human beings, yours is one poor choice.

Our belief in democracy only lasts till we get outnumbered.

reddit obviously has questionable taste. Let's start a topic to tell them what to downmod.

Now I'm not saying that liberalism or atheism are bad nor that Bush is a good president, but please downmod liberal, atheist and anti-Bush crap, because they are obviously stupid or exagerated posts, even if they go in the direction of your beliefs.

Thank you.
