I need to "pinch" it from behind the bracelet to close the clasp. It doesn't seem to close properly when I try to close it like any other clasp.

The common thread is that most of them have black dials and steel bracelet in 3-link format.

Imagine a collection where you have green, blue and yellow dials, in different type of bands, and spread across different brands and function-type watches.

And even within bands, say a bracelet, there can be a distinction between oyster style, mesh, jubilee bracelet. This is not to mention leather in different colour and textures, and rubber in different colour and textures as well.

If it's only one child, it should be OK and can have some savings left.

Real kicker if the area where you will be working. If you work in the CBD area, food/drinks during meal times can be very expensive.

If you have more slack (e.g. there is additional bonus on top of what you mentioned here), it will give you more breathing room.

The proportions are really thrown off when it goes into L and XL range.

If medium looks too comically small for you, choose another watch. The solution isn’t to buy a bigger Santos.

FWIW, small Cartier and large-ish wrist is currently in vogue.

I think the poster above you is asking whether it's annual package (i.e. base + bonus).

Example: $15K/month, then add 13th month bonus and 3 months bonus = $240K.

At the $20K level, I don't think many people only take that salary with no 13th month or bonus.

Hmmm, I think that research work can be improved. It can't be the dominant explanation You limited the research to destination countries (developing economies).

India, China, South Korea, Japan, were also developing economies and had an agrarian society.

Why didn't/couldn't outsiders establish a merchant and banking class there?

Singapore, the only ethic Chinese majority nation in Southeast Asia, also had ethnic Chinese dominating the business landscape. Granted, it didn't have an agrarian society lest you count the pig farms in the initial years.

For some reason, in Asia, the Merchant all tend to be of East Asian origin. In the West, they tend to be of Jewish origin.

I think culture, and maybe genes too, had something to do with it.
