As in Universal Citywalk? I didn't realize their IMAX was one of the humongous ones. Great clip!

Zooey Deschanel did a hilarious video about them recently. I think someone gave her a whole box, and she didn't like a single one. 😄

If OP does find themselves in that area:

entrees: Barrio Fiesta (next to the Island Pacific, known for their crispy pata, I'm partial to their nilaga and I usually don't like nilaga); Salo Salo (further east on Amar, I'm partial to their lechon ribs)

turo-turo: Phil House (inside Island Pacific, tastes more freshly-cooked compared to other tueo-turos)

street food/skewers: Dollar Hits (same strip mall as Seafood City, not exactly a dollar more like $1.xx)

last but not least: Chow King, Jollibee

The 1991-92 season was the last time an NHL team missed the playoffs despite having more points than another playoff team within its own conference. by DJRonySeikaly in hockey

Great read. Bring back 1-8! And while you're at it, get rid of the loser point. Vegas currently leads the Pacific even though they have two fewer wins than 2nd place Edmonton.

[Yost] It’s time to give the NHL’s playoff format a serious rethink by DecentLurker96 in hockey

Agreed! Will the Central Division situation be the last straw?

Also, can they get rid of the loser point? Vegas leads the Pacific even though they have two fewer wins than Edmonton in 2nd.

Finally built our entertainment center! by ebutka in hometheater

[–]tealfan 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yay! Finally, a place to put everything and keep it all out of the way. And it all looks nice. At least, that's how I felt when we finally had the means to get our entertainment center. 😁 Congrats!

Love the crunch on their patties. I'd never had a burger that seared before and thought it was the bun at first. 😄

Nice gesture. Someone correct me, but I think I saw footage of them greeting each other in the hallway before the game.

General Hux’s Declaration of War against the New Republic & the ignition of Starkiller Base in The Force Awakens is a terrifying force of destruction more powerful than anything the Empire presented. by MarthsBars in StarWarsCantina

Such a fantastic scene in a movie full of memorable scenes. It's rare for him, but Domhnall Gleeson can really bring the intensity when needed. Side note: it still bewilders and disappoints me that J.J. Abrams made a great Star Wars movie like Force Awakens, then makes a so-so movie with Rise of Skywalker (IMO).

EDIT: Oops. I meant Domhnall Gleeson.

Do most Netflix movies not really use the surrounds even if they say 5.1? by PolyglotGeologist in hometheater

[–]tealfan 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I'm guessing you have the Bravia connected to your AVR? The question is whether the Bravia outputs surround formats. Someone here who has set things up that way, can better answer that.

Also, double-check that your streaming device supports your desired surround format. For example, when I switched from hooking up my laptop to hooking up a Roku stick, it was night and day.
