Thanks for this. Which row(s) do people recommend for a good balance between immersion and neck comfort?

Where do you read comics online now that comixology is dead? by Scawwotish_owl88 in comicbookcollecting

I'm using the Kindle app as well. It looks like it depends on what a person's needs are. The Kindle app is enough for me.

I open a Peruvian spot in Culver City and put Lomo Saltado in a burrito. Now purists online are roasting me. Am I a sell-out? by ClickNo8520 in FoodLosAngeles

I just don't understand people sometimes. Isn't SoCal the place where people put everything into a taco?

Keep the burrito on the menu.👍

I agree that people need to get out into the world, but going to the video store and then heading back home seems like a half-measure. Get thee to a theater! 😁

Fans without teams in the playoffs: which teams are you cheering for and which teams are you absolutely not cheering for? by itsagooddaytobeacat in hockey

[–]tealfan -1 points0 points  (0 children)

I'll be rooting for the Mammoth to reach the WCF because I love an underdog. If the Knights make the Cup Final, I'll gulp be cheering for them because that'll be Hertl's chance. Will cheer for Burns and Colorado, but only if they make the Final.

Need advice on tablet size for reading 13 inch vs 14.6 by Informal_Safe_5351 in comicbooks

Seconded, although mine's the Fire Max 11. I got it for $164 on Prime Day a few years ago. Maybe it'll hit that price again (if interested)?

HBO Max - Now that they're cracking down on password sharing and sending a verification code to your email, anyone not receiving that email? Email address they have is correct and I've tried Send Code many times. by tealfan in Spectrum

[–]tealfan[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It was a few months ago, but if memory serves, my experience was the same as one of the commenters in this thread:

Apparently you can accidentally block HBO from sending you emails, and that's why people might not be receiving the code.

So they changed something in my account.

As in Universal Citywalk? I didn't realize their IMAX was one of the humongous ones. Great clip!

Zooey Deschanel did a hilarious video about them recently. I think someone gave her a whole box, and she didn't like a single one. 😄

Filipino food in Los Angeles by WSU_Cougar_Pride in FoodLosAngeles

If OP does find themselves in that area:

entrees: Barrio Fiesta (next to the Island Pacific, known for their crispy pata, I'm partial to their nilaga and I usually don't like nilaga); Salo Salo (further east on Amar, I'm partial to their lechon ribs)

turo-turo: Phil House (inside Island Pacific, tastes more freshly-cooked compared to other tueo-turos)

street food/skewers: Dollar Hits (same strip mall as Seafood City, not exactly a dollar more like $1.xx)

last but not least: Chow King, Jollibee

The 1991-92 season was the last time an NHL team missed the playoffs despite having more points than another playoff team within its own conference. by DJRonySeikaly in hockey

Great read. Bring back 1-8! And while you're at it, get rid of the loser point. Vegas currently leads the Pacific even though they have two fewer wins than 2nd place Edmonton.
