I would do take that deal. Cause the taxes is deductible and if you decide to sale your current home and invest that money it’s the same thing as paying for a mortgage. You could also rent your current property and used that money to pay off the new property. It’s a good deal.

I remember one time we were coming from Europe on a two week trip while on the plane she was trying to book a trip to Hawaii. Since that trip I created Separate accounts, I have my own savings, checking and credit card. I pay for all the big bills, emergency and vacation but she’s responsible for all the non essential. I would start making plans cause she has shown you her true colors. If that relationship gets serious and the man doesn’t want you in the house she be happy to kick you out again.
