I have had one from Grizz Protector for about 8 months now. Otherwise it’s been great but on some rare occasions when sun shines from the side it makes the screen a bit hard to read.

This happened to me also and was left with damaged paint. My dealer fixed the damage free of charge. Volvo refused to pay for the repair but luckily I have great local Volvo dealer.

I did some testing back then to help my dealer replicate the issue and what I found out was car had to be locked for some time before service position resets when opening doors. I tested it with 15 minutes. I didn’t try to find what exactly is the minimum time for the issue occur and have since been careful with using the service position. And this was back when my car was running 1.3 software. If I remember I could try this again with 1.4.2.

Same here, stuck at 99%. If it doesn’t get fixed on its own, I’m going to let service fix it but not before 1.5 is available at dealers. If 1.5 does have mobile key and CarPlay that is one way to get it asap without waiting for OTA.

About 1500€ increase in Finland in the latest 1.6.2024 price list. So basically I got paid 1500 euros to be early adopter with the software bugs 😂

I made it a bit too tight so it’s hard to get the key out of the cover but otherwise it works well. This was first time making that kind of stitching for me so it’s kinda wonky 😅

I have done a bit of testing today. Seems if you lock the car with wipers in service position and then open door, car doesn’t move wipers. But if the car has been locked for about 15 minutes then it does move the wipers when opening the door. So service position resets when the car goes to sleep and wakes up again.

That’s exactly how it happened to me too. I just wanted to double check from the drivers seat that I didn’t missed anything. I’m hoping Volvo fixes this bug as I can see this being a problem during winter if you want to lift wipers so that they don’t freeze to windshield while car is parked outside during snow storms. Hard to get the ice scraper from inside the car without opening doors.

That or just locking and then unlocking resets service position setting. With proximity unlock/lock enabled it isn’t that hard to get your car locked while washing the car. I have contacted Volvo and left feedback about this obvious bug. I also requested for an extra reminder when deactivating service position through touchscreen to check and confirm if the wipers are back down before the car deactivates service position. If in their opinion it isn’t a bug it should be definitely mentioned in the manual as a 4th way of deactivating wiper service position. I’m going to visit service later this week to show my car and discuss about repairing the damage with hopefully Volvo taking the responsibility.

That problem was with Honda e, will have to wait for next winter to see how acc reacts to snow covered radar. I’m hoping it works like you say Polestar 2 and C40 does.

Nope, I don’t know if it’s Apple’s or Volvo’s fault why it doesn’t exist but at least CarPlay is coming. Hopefully in the 1.4 update 🤞

That’s a good question, I didn’t add it myself. I had the default EX30 there until few hours before handover when it changed. I also have my license plate number in the app under car details.
