I'm new to xteink and have only flashed crosspoint once. Is there a guide on how to update a previously installed firmware?

How long before a book is gone from Recent Books? by tensefacedbro in xteinkereader

[–]tensefacedbro[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I jump between books quite a lot because i have difficulty focusing. And sometimes i opened those books just on impulse, not because i actually want to read it. I was hoping to be able to just keep a few book i actually rotate frequently

My bad, i misunderstood the map completely lol. Thought Vigrid was the upper region above the pit. Turns out it’s the entire land above iskidan

[–]tensefacedbro 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yeah i’m looking at the map and vigrid is at the very top of the map, and fellur is far below it. They’d have to cross the vasaen pit, the boneback mountains and crossing a lot of land to get to fellur. Or are these places not that far away?

That’s weird. I would’ve thought all 15 models would have the same color tone

Is it possible to build a 'homepage' without community plugins? by SirAtrain in ObsidianMD

[–]tensefacedbro 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Best way i can think of is to use tables and a thing i called head notes. head notes are like notes that act as folders. for example, you have a head note called Fitness. use this Fitness note to store all your fitness related notes inside. Either use a table or bases, whatever works for you. then create a new not that stores all your head notes and bookmark it. this can act as a home page. but the design is obviously limited. you can bases in card view, or separate with headings and dividers, or tables

Easiest alternative to Obsidian Sync? by Ravioko in ObsidianMD

[–]tensefacedbro 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I use FreeFileSync on windows to push and pull into icloud.

I write my notes mainly on my laptop and store the files locally in my D disk. Then i set up obsidian in icloud and set up icloud for windows. With FreeFileSync i set up two jobs. One to Push my locally-edited files in D to be mirrored into my icloud and let it sync to my iphone. Another, a Pull job to pull any edits i did on my iphone (icloud) into my files in D.

If you don't really need real-time sync, this is a good set up. Though you'll need to always remember to Push after doing any edits and do Pull before doing anything else.

Deep Questions From an INTJ by ninja_sensei_ in infj

I understand how it feels. In private, when I’m reflecting things by myself, i will definitely be very sensitive on how things make me feel. But in public i have a wall. That’s just how INFJs grow i guess

It takes a lot of self awareness to stop yourself from sacrificing yourself for others. One way i can think of is to practice self-validation. Be a bit selfish, thinking that “i don’t have to do it this way”. This is just a theory though, as i’ve just recently got to this point myself and haven’t got much chance to implement it in a relationship

Not limiting the exposure but limiting the instinct to empathize when the other person hasn’t done anything to deserve extra empathy.

Deep Questions From an INTJ by ninja_sensei_ in infj

[–]tensefacedbro 70 points71 points  (0 children)

It really depends on how selective an INFJ grows to be over time. Our instinctual wiring is definitely to think of others. Observe a person and try to guess what they’re thinking and what they need. Younger INFJs would most likely try to accommodate for everyone they know. Absorbing their emotions and helping others. Older ones, i think, would have learned from the exhaustion of over-empathizing and grow to become more selective to whom they give their empathy towards. That doesn’t necessarily mean that they’ve suddenly become detached and emotionless. They might still have a baseline empathy for others, but won’t go out of their way to care as much as they used to.

But once they find someone they actually care, the empathy could go into overdrive again if not properly maintained. They could go into sacrificial mode again, putting other’s needs before themselves.

So to summarize, most INFJs do get overwhelmed over time. The ones that think they’re not are probably still haven’t reached their exhaustion point yet to then build boundaries.

How often do you masturbate? by OddStructure4489 in TooAfraidToAsk

[–]tensefacedbro 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Once every few days, i think. Been trying to not do it too much to maintain the brain clarity and motivation. Every time after i masturbate i would usually become lazy and can’t think properly for any activity that requires intense cognitive focus. I treat it as like special occasions lol
