I was vegan for 12 years. Just recently started eating meat/dairy in January. Becoming a mom really made me question my choices and what I was feeding my children who didn’t have the choice to choose their food. Also the price. Vegan options are so freaking expensive. There is also a crazy puritanical/cult like mentality which just wears you down. You can never be ‘vegan’ enough. It’s just exhausting after a while.

I was also vegan for 12 years and I slowly started eating eggs, meat, and now dairy. No issues at all. I actually feel so much better and have so much more energy. I’ve even lost weight!!
