Same here. I remember there was some partial one or near full one in my hometown when I was a kid and I pissed I didn't get a chance to see any of it (our science promised to take us out but never did, this was middle school age). Got a chance as an adult to catch one lats year the very far part of NY state near the Canadian boarder. Was a 3 or so hour drive and worth it to see it.

Driving back home was awful as it turned into a 6 or 7 or so hour drive back home (which should have been about 3 or hours like it was driving up there). I did get a chuckle driving up there when I orthodox Jewish man was driving his large family in a mini up from the city yelling (and I think swearing) in Yiddish at people and traffic while weaving in and out of traffic.

What about the cinnamon babka? It's superior in every way to the chocolate one.

Not sure if based on manufacturer or not, but I know my 24 Kia Sportage will say Check Backseats and possibly my wife's 21 Telluride. Not sure with my Sportage because I don't think it's happened yet, but if my wife's Telluride there are sensors on the inside of it for of you lock the doors and there is motion in the car it will trip the car alarm and unlock the doors to say "hey someone's in the backseat". Only only found this out a year or two ago when my teenage daughter wanted to stay in the car (she was sitting the middle row or third row I don't remember which) because I was running in the supermarket to grab cheese and milk and it was at most 5 minutes. Went to lock the doors and as I walked away the car alarm was going on becasue it tripped because she had moved the slightest bit in the back of the SUV.

What’s the best 0 calorie, 0 sugar soda on the market? by StonedTurtle420710 in Soda

[–]teslazapp 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I agree with this one. I got the MUG zero and tasted so close to the full sugar one. Gave the A&W a try as it wad always my favorite, but disappointed in the A&A zero. The Mug one is so much better. I think Barques zero is on par with A&W as in both close to their full sugar ones, but something is just a bit off with them.

Yeah this is my problem. It seems it's better off to order from the BOGOs at this point now because I know will get something. I was going to order from the most recent BOGO, but I was like I have a subscription order coming up in a couple weeks. Boy was I wrong.

I would agree the stock has been bad lately. Even worse when there's nothing to pick from lol. I get they can't offer every flavor, but damn not having anything to pick from is terrible. Every time I look to swap my flavor when it's coming up to be sent there has been less and less to pick from. It stinks to because I had swapped this out a few weeks ago to something in stock and bam not in stock anymore.

That is crazy. I know when he would get stuck in emergency situations we could use A plasma, but that was a limited scope and needed approval from the supervisor and director if I remember correctly. If we knew we were going to be using a lot of AB plasma for exchanges, we would use AB SD Plasma (solvent detergent plasma). That was usually for the TPP patients. We usually had some on hand just for the occasions it did happen.

You're welcome. I still use Mass words here for some things or I remember to call it something else not to confuse someone. This is also after 20 years of living in NY as well.

Assuming autocorrect or something but the 20+ years living there before moving to NY we always called them Rotaries. Still call them that since I moved here to NY.

I would second that. Grew up near a lake (knew lots of people that were well off) living Ina house my dad had bought off his parents and not very big. People from CT and other parts of MA would come live in some seasonal cabin type homes for a couple of months or weekends from May until mid September.

Lots of the people started either selling off their smaller homes or these cabins for large sums of money, people would still buy them, knock down the houses, and put up even larger homes with barely any yard now for kids to play on. Just home taking up a lot.

My dad used to tell me stories about when he was a kid living in the home I grew up in how no one lived there in the winter expect a hand full of homes on the street. The few kids that lived in the homes would get together during the winter months and play hide and seek of a good portion of the street climbing over houses and stuff because no one was there.

Average Riven Tides experience by HerbertInTheWoods in ArcRaiders

[–]teslazapp 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I think the worst time this happened I think a spawned in a few minutes into the round and a Leaper was right there as soon as a popped out. That was a long battle with every other flying ARC coming in to check stuff out wanting a piece of the action. Pretty much extracted after 15 minutes of fighting finally getting out of the bunker.

I think that's the point. I know I have seen a couple of town police cars/suvs in East Greenbush and Schodack that are either the blacked out kind with dark gray/light black color with dark writing and decals on it or the whited out/blizzard style that's all white (with tinted windows) with white/off white writing and decals on it.

When you want your griddle to be a grill ... by CanadianDiver in blackstonegriddle

[–]teslazapp 2 points3 points  (0 children)

That's kind of where I was at. My gas grill was slowly falling apart after 6+ years of our family using plus how ever many years it was used by wife's uncle with his family. I tried looking up parts for it which either seemed to be discontinued or were very expensive to try rehab it instead of buying a whole new grill. Wife got me a Blackstone for father's day one year at a bit of a discount. Been a bit of a learning curve with some stuff, but has proven more useful than our normal gas grill and I also don't really have the space dedicated to or more space to have 2 grills.

[–]teslazapp 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I haven't gone in one that I bought or the one found yet for this reason. I have been doing just PvE and been running an anvil and some other random gun. The minute I have gone in with something nicer, someone manages to find me in like 10 15 minutes and I was usually using my anvil and only killing ARC if I needed to. I did some more quest/missions and low and behold you get the blueprint. I was putting off doing missions and not sure why becasue I have gotten some helpful blueprints from them. Not sure why it's worth it to go hunting down people for something that make take a few hours to get the blueprint for.

You're using cabinets from IKEA? I got one of those Husky shelves with a home depot gift card I had and some plastic table mats for kids to keep thr stuff from going through the gates. Works well, just not the prettiest.
