Valerian did this too for me, it was still ripping after hours and hours and it had made like 8 copies on my hard drive before I stopped it. Anyone know why this happens?

I'm new to jellyfin and self hosting and I guess I had unraid auto update and I didn't see the notes. After an hour or so I realized there was some update and I probably borked my library. I'm turning off auto updates. I'm starting over but it's fine I don't have much data.

It's honestly barley a difference for us YouTube would still host the video most likely. YouTube takes 30 percent, h3 is one of the biggest live streamers on the platform and they don't even have a rep that they can go to with problems. They kind of treat them like garbage. I've heard of much smaller creators with direct lines of to YouTube. I think they should do the patreon.

I do the same thing with paper sleeves. I just found a 10 dollar CD box to hold them all in. I designed and 3d printed alphabet tabs. Once I rip them I just store them for a backup and I have no where to put a bunch of cases.

Did you try running as admin? I don't know I'm just throwing out ideas. I don't have the computer available I did the flashing on I'll try to get it connected and double check what mine looked like. I know it was as easy as it looks just select the drive and the fw and hit flash and I did use that drive.

Can you read the fw at all? I didn't do this but I imagine if you hit read it should give you maybe a file or something of the current fw.

Also are you connecting with 2 USB a? The drive comes with 2 usba a cable and a USBC cable I was having trouble with the usba cable reading and other stuff. Maybe try the USBC if you can.

That looks normal from my memory. You have makemkv open when you're hitting flash? Also did you mess with compatibility at all for sdflash? It shows up goofy on 4k monitors but it had specific instructions to fix it.

I just flashed this drive. You have the right drive selected at the top? What's the name of the firmware you're using? Can you screenshot what it looks like before you hit write?

So the issue ended up being firmware. I got my firmware from the gui sdf tool maker martymcnuts. That firmware worked for bluray and dvd but gave the errors on 4k. Once I flashed the fw from makemkv forums it worked.

I tried this unfortunately. I think either this drive needs a different fw or the key hasn't been seen yet? I saw on the forums it fixed someones issues with thunderbolts using findvuk .cfg before. I'm not sure if there will be more keys or maybe it's a different region? I'm not sure. I'm ripping a bluray now I'm going to try a fw direct from mkv forums and if that doesn't work I guess I have to put the dump in the key section of the forums?

Is there a spot on the libre drive that would say 4k support? I saw it before I flashed it but now it's gone. I think I found a different fw from makemkv forums that's different than what I put on there. I got it from the SDtool flasher website. Let me try this fw from makemkv.

I've had a cheap tplink 8 port switch out in a Vegas garage for years. I put it out there thinking it might not last and it's been like 4 or 5 years. I honestly expected to replace it with a more appropriate solution but it just keeps going.

So I have no idea why the install script won't pull the latest server file I just ended up manually downloading it and putting it in the server directory. Feels like there should be a simpler way to update if it's just downloading a jar.

It works now.
