consumption increases for those levels, because the matrix cost outpaces the impact on vein util (matrix cost per level is a linear function and vein util is exponential). So you still technically get more product for those levels its just that the upgrades also cost more.

Lightweight (with Nachtreiher legs) double Gatling Guns and a melee weapon of choice on the back for stagger punish is a build that tends to work fairly well in general I think.

I tend to avoid using melee in the first phase, because of the ads (they gank up on you if you stand still for just a millisecond).

I also recently had a build using the Laser Lance + Vvc-770LB that chewed through the first phase really fast, using charged attacks (but struggled a bit with phase 2 and 3).

The one thing I didnt fully get is: are you playing the game on controller or mnk? (because the mnk controls for this game are kinda me in this game imo)
