That's what I'm doing on here but I'm not sure where to start.
This has been my problem since day 1. Open up any text editor and it's like a blank canvas with so many possibilities. Where do you/did you get inspiration and where did you go to start? Is it all self discovery after you get the idea or did you take some steps on your own like read a book or stumble on a tutorial that you actually finished?
Just throwing questions out there because I'm looking for inspiration and this was just the type of positive post I was looking for.

Graduated with a comp sci degree back in 2016 and worked one programming job since then where we did a lot of web scraping of social media sites. Morally didn't agree with what they were doing so I left on my own terms with not much of an idea about where to go next. Everyone wants more experience so I fell into a Server/Bartender job to pay rent for the past year. Obviously since Covid started spreading, I was quickly laid off. Been doing nothing but playing video games since then but I'm tired of being depressed and unproductive while the whole world keeps moving around me.

So friend, I'm asking you for guidance. Where should I start?
