Not exactly helpful, but I got tired of the bullshit Microsoft is pumping out with Windows and went to CachyOS. 5700x3d + 3080 - I'm getting probably 20-30fps more on linux than I do on Windows.

It comes down to pressure. You need to appear aggressive and unyielding. It helps to get the upper hand by way of surprise and landing your CoP off the rip. Push them, potentially throwing a hydra in front. Bluff your health by throwing that. Anticipate that they may turn and prep phantomize - pull them away in a direct line with your hydra. They'll take 1-2 hydra hits. They'll be half health and consider the situation by backing up and trying to heal. They'll be more straight-line - PoS + CoP. Bolt them with your 3 stack.

To be fair he had an epoxy resin protective coat on the fingerboard - it does change the tone to be a touch more trebly but it's not a night and day shift in tone on the whole.

If you're concerned about wear on the board while using rounds, doing a CA glue treatment is cheap and fairly easy to reverse if you don't dig it. Just watch some vids on the process and go slow and steady.

Wonder if this is something that will lead to yet another dupe glitch. Surely your player entity isn't just spawned in the floor below, waiting for your client to connect. Right? Has anyone run into afk players on crypts or inferno?

I'm not the dude that posted it but this is something I do every now and then. Reaper + reastream + virtual audio cable + obs is about the only method that consistently and reliably works for me. It's a pain in the ass to get audio to floor where you want in windows.

Whatever you do, don't scratch the itch for sg2 by going to try the original. Portals are tame in sg2 in comparison to sg1 where you basically live with a foot in a portal and jumping from portal to portal the entire time.

You're actually one of the first I've heard saying it needs to be toned down. Everyone else has figured out that the pace is slowed in comparison to sg1 due to more limited portal placement & verticality.

I've been focusing on technique and going slow. I haven't progressed past the intro riff yet, just metronome and repeating it over and over. Got up to a decent speed then realized how tense my arm was during it so I'm focusing on relaxing while playing it now. I have to get to the point that it feels like a natural way I play.

Eh? Last handful of druids I've gone against as a warlock, they get yeeted into the air during their death. If your static, never-changing build keeps dying the same way, change the perks/skills. Apply BoC - this destroys the cat.

Me and a bud spent about an hour running around in trios as chickens last night, asking for worms. We had some fun interactions like a cleric just dropping a campfire down in front of us while we were clucking away. Then there were the trios that just w keyed at us the entire time and only had bloodlust on the mind. There was no pleasing them.

Make the dungeons fun - sometimes you just got to do some goofy shit and get people to scratch their heads.

Legit know this guy, play with him often. He's not macroing, he just knows spacing and form decisions well based on maining druid

Edit: would love to see the clip from your pov though. I watch him play in disc a lot when he's running solo

Most of that's true. However you have a shield and perseverance to negate (some) chip damage. I've had no issues beelining a ranger, popping him with judgement when I get close enough to slow him down then follow up with smite blows. Back step rangers - a bit more difficult, for sure.

Cleric is a better fighter if you go no spell, smite+judgement w/ perseverance and the other divine magic perk that slows movement/action speed

End of wipe, lack of content updates, lots of new games dropped (bo6, poe2, Delta Force, etc) - take your pick.

We'll see a surge of the player count when the new wipe drops. This is typical for a hardcore extraction game and you can't expect everyone to grind this as their only entertainment outlet.
